The end of a chapter 😢

After much consideration, it’s with a very heavy heart that I announce the closure of Bertie’s Lash & Brow Studio on Friday 11th April 2025.

As the cost of living continues to rise for us all, in addition to the increasing costs associated with running the business, it has become increasingly difficult to make the business financially viable and unfortunately due to the current climate, I have seen a decline in regular bookings.

I have therefore decided to return to full time employment to provide financial stability as well as a better work-life balance.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support and loyalty over the past 20 months, it has been an absolute pleasure meeting and getting to know so many of you and I will miss all of our chats and catch ups. Without you none of this would have been possible and for that I will always be grateful.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible before my last day at the studio and thank you once again for your continued support.

How to avoid…

Skin grazing from your brow wax 😣

1️⃣ Do not use acid exfoliators and/or scrubs at least 3 to 5 days before your appointment

2️⃣ Do not use anti-ageing skincare products containing retinol at least 3 to 5 days before your appointment

3️⃣ Avoid the use of sunbeds at least 3 to 5 days before your appointment

4️⃣ Advise your brow technician of any prescribed skincare medication you are taking which could mean you are unsuitable for treatment at this time
