Box colour brass be gone!! Today’s customer loved the cooler shade of her hair after highlights and two toners. Hopefully her regrowth will be much less noticeable now! 😉

Despite a low sweep to the right hairline, a tucked in bob worked once we got down to the right way of looking after my client’s coarse/yet fine and plenty of it hair! Ladies…Don’t wrap your hair in a thick towel after the shower for 15 minutes while you amble about making tea or getting dressed! Use a dressing gown so you’re not taking ages getting dressed first! Your hair needs your attention NoW… Squeeze the water out of your hair first with your towel and put your product on and get drying!! Nice straight partings ear to ear with a clip will help when using a round brush so you can get volume working under your partings. Feathery & natural is out, mousse and a round brush is in!!!

Sometimes it’s necessary to just cut it all off and start again. Luba is on a journey to grey that unfortunately began for me with a dark box colour 3 inches from a white root! Faded ends and some left over compound henna gave me pause. So with a Wella KP 7/0 & 7/1 tint regrowth, restyle, and fine cap highlights with a copper toner saved the day. Luba is gorgeous! Foils in six weeks so watch this space. X

Gorgeous warm tones today and a trim up for a lovely lady who found me again when she realised I had moved to Newton Abbot! Nearer for her and delighted we spent a happy couple of hours catching up this morning
