🌊 Out of Office 🌊

That’s a wrap for this week!

A huge thank you to every single person who has placed an order, shared a post, left a kind comment or supported my little business. It genuinely means so much, and I’m incredibly grateful for every order that comes through.

I’m heading off to Cornwall for a few days to recharge, spend some time with family and hopefully enjoy a little sea air. 🩵

The studio will be quiet while I’m away, but I’ll be back on Monday 28th July, and any orders placed during my break will be lovingly made and dispatched as soon as I return.

Thank you again for supporting my dream. See you next week! 🤍

👀 Something new is on the fragrance table…

I’ve been busy testing a couple of new scents that are a little different from anything we’ve created before.

One is deep, modern and effortlessly sophisticated.
The other is fresh, green and inspired by nature in a way you might not expect. 🌿

They’re still in the testing phase, so nothing is confirmed just yet—but I couldn’t resist giving you a little sneak peek.

I can’t wait to see how they perform in wax before deciding whether they’ll be joining The Lancashire Candle Company collection.

💭 Any guesses what they might be?

I’ll give you a clue… one is inspired by contemporary interiors, and the other by the scent of summer gardens.

Watch this space… ✨

🌊✨ A little studio update ✨🌊

It seemed only fitting to share one of my favourite coastal fragrances, Driftwood & Seaweed, as I'll be heading down to Newquay to spend a few days with family. 💙

I'll be out of the studio from Wednesday afternoon, so if you've had your eye on something, now's the perfect time to place your order before I head off.

The website will, of course, remain open while I'm away, but any orders placed after Wednesday afternoon will be lovingly made and dispatched as soon as I'm back next week.

Taking a little time to switch off, breathe in the sea air and spend time with family is something I don't do often, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Thank you, as always, for supporting my little business. Every order, every like, every share and every kind word allows me to do what I love, and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you. 💛

See you all next week!

✨ Just some of this week’s refillable candles, ready to head off to their new homes.

Every vessel you see here has been hand-poured, individually marbled and finished by hand, meaning no two will ever be exactly the same. That’s one of the things I love most about making them.

All of the pigments used to create these finishes are from Homeware Design Co., whose beautiful range makes it possible to create these unique marbled designs.

Knowing these are about to become part of someone’s home never gets old. Thank you to everyone who has chosen to support my little business this week—it genuinely means the world. 🤍

Sometimes the best decisions are the spur-of-the-moment ones! ☀️😄

I finished work a little early today to make the most of the sunshine and decided, on a whim, to see if Lidl still had any inflatable pools left…

To my surprise, they did! At £50 I thought, why not?

By the time I’d got it home, it was straight out of the box and being filled up (this photo was taken while I was waiting! 😅). The dogs, of course, had to come and supervise the whole operation. 🐶💙

Running The Lancashire Candle Company alongside a full-time job means afternoons like this don’t happen very often, so I’m making the most of the sunshine while it lasts before it’s back to making candles and packing your lovely orders.

I hope you’re all making the most of this gorgeous weather! What have you been up to today? ☀️

Over the weekend I realised something...

Since getting back from our little trek around Mont Blanc, I've been unusually quiet on here.

I didn't plan to take a break from social media, but I think after four incredible days in the Alps, surrounded by mountains, fresh air and no pressure to constantly be "on", I needed a little time to reset without even realising it.

Sometimes stepping away gives you the space to come back with fresh ideas, renewed energy and a reminder of why you started in the first place.

So... I'm back. 😊

The studio is busy again, there are new fragrances, new products, markets, behind-the-scenes content and a few exciting projects I've been working on that I can't wait to share with you over the coming weeks.

Thank you, as always, for sticking around while I disappeared into the mountains for a little while.

Now... who's ready for lots more candles? 🕯️✨

I’ve just got home after four incredible days trekking around Mont Blanc… and somewhere between the aching legs, the blisters and trying to remember how stairs work, Instagram decided to show me these. 😂

I genuinely think “medieval ways to say no to people-ing” might be my new favourite genre of content.

“I shan’t rise today, the candle within has grown dim.”

Honestly? That’s exactly where I’m at right now.

If anyone needs me, I’ll be wrapped in a blanket, lighting a candle, drinking tea and pretending the outside world doesn’t exist for at least 24 hours.

The mountains pushed me so far outside my comfort zone, but what an unforgettable adventure it was. Now it’s time to refill the candle within. 🕯️🤍

Has anyone else discovered this bizarrely appropriate medieval meme trend, or is my algorithm just looking out for me? 😂

⛰️ First mountain climb completed.

Today I reached the summit of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, and what an incredible experience it was.

We were lucky enough to have sunshine, blue skies and breathtaking views for the entire climb. It was challenging, rewarding and definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone, but standing at the summit made every step worthwhile.

After having to turn back on Helvellyn last weekend because of the gale-force winds, it felt even more special to finally reach the top today.

And this isn’t the end…

This was our last climb before heading to Geneva on Wednesday for a 4-day trek around Mont Blanc. 🥾🇫🇷🇨🇭🇮🇹

Wish us luck! 💙

It’s been a colourful week in the workshop! 🤍🖤💜

These are just some of the shades and colour combinations our customers have chosen for their refillable vessels this week.

Each one is individually hand-poured, creating unique patterns and marbling that make every piece one of a kind.

I’d love to know which is your favourite?
