Strong bodies are built in the little moments. 💪
Try adding a few tiny habits to your day to keep moving and strengthen the muscles we often forget about:
✅ Calf raises while waiting for the kettle to boil
✅ Calf stretches to maintain ankle mobility and reduce tightness
✅ Heel walks down the hallway to wake up your shins and ankles
✅ Wood chop body twists to keep your core and spine moving well
✅ Shoulder dislocations with a band or broomstick for healthy shoulder mobility
These movements only take seconds, but done consistently they can improve balance, mobility, posture, and overall strength.
You don't need an hour-long workout to make a difference. Tiny habits add up. Start with one movement today and let consistency do the rest.
Motion is lotion—keep moving! 💙
What's your favourite "mini exercise" that you sneak into your day? 👇

Sports massage can be for anyone who has muscle tension, stress, or pain.
Just because you don’t play sports or go to the gym doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from a sports massage!
How does your job affect your body? 🤔👇
👉Are you slumped over your desk working in an office? 💻
👉Are you on your feet 12+ hours a day working as a health professional or security? 👩⚕️👮♂️
👉Are you a driver who is stuck behind a wheel and sitting all day? 🚚
👉Are you a beautician or a hairdresser hunched over clients all day? 💇♀️💆♂️
👉Are you in a really manual job doing lots of heavy lifting? 🔧🔨
👉Are you a parent running around after your children doing lots of bending and lifting? 👨👩👧👦
You could really benefit from a massage to relieve stress related tension that you get from your job.
I've been in the position where I was working 12-14 hours a day, possibly longer. Taking the mental load of a receptionist in a hotel spa with Covid restrictions, then once the spa closes, it was time to clean. Stress of therapists pulling sickies, rearranging treatments, stepping in to perform massages, and dealing with a leaking hot tub and out of whack chemicals of an old plant room system. Throw in a break up and a lot of moving.
Both a mentally and physically demanding job takes a toll on your body. My eating habits changed, I lost a lot of weight and started getting injuries that put a stop to all work.
It's frustrating and heart-breaking to look back to the past and think how much I was working myself to the ground and wished I looked after myself.

How often should you get a sports massage? 🤔💆♂️💆♀️
Whether you’re on your feet all day, stuck at a desk, or training hard in the gym, your body works harder than you think!
💼 For busy workers (desk-based or manual jobs):
If you’re dealing with tight shoulders, lower back ache, or repetitive strain, a sports massage every 1–4 weeks can help keep tension under control and prevent small niggles turning into bigger problems.
🏋️ For active people & gym-goers:
Training regularly? Lifting, running, cycling or playing sports? A massage every 2–4 weeks can support recovery, improve flexibility, and keep you performing at your best.
🏃♂️ In intense training periods or event prep:
You might benefit from weekly or fortnightly sessions to stay on top of muscle tightness and reduce injury risk.
💪Injury rehab or specific tight/problem areas:
Weekly sessions initially may be recommended, then taper to monthly once symptoms improve.
✨ Remember:
Sports massage isn’t just for athletes. It’s for anyone who wants to move better, feel better, and prevent pain — not just treat it.
Listen to your body 👂 If you’re constantly tight, sore, or fatigued, it’s probably time to book in.
Your body is your most important tool — look after it! 🔧💙

Massage promotes the body's production of serotonin, an essential amino acid that promotes healing. It is known to reduce depression and regulate anxiety.
☀/🌕Serotonin is essential for the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone which is a central part to the body's circadian rhythm which regulates sleep/wake cycle.
If you suffer form sleep issues such as insomnia/ disturbed sleep then having regular massages can really help heal the body, relax your body & mind and give you a good nights sleep.

Ever feel like your energy is constantly running on empty? It might not just be your schedule—it could be what your body is holding onto.
Sports massage isn’t just for athletes. It’s a powerful way to restore energy, support recovery, and help your body feel like YOUR body again.
✨ Here’s how it helps ✨
**Boosts muscle recovery**
When your muscles are tight, overworked, or injured, your body uses a huge amount of energy trying to repair them. Sports massage supports this process—helping muscles recover more efficiently so you’re not constantly drained.
**Increases circulation**
Improved blood flow means more oxygen and nutrients delivered where your body needs it most. The result? Better function, less fatigue, and a noticeable lift in energy levels.
**Reduces physical pain & mental stress**
Pain is exhausting. It keeps your nervous system on high alert and can wear you down mentally as well as physically. Massage helps calm that “red alert” state, easing tension and allowing your body (and mind) to finally relax.
**Improves flexibility & range of movement**
When your body moves more freely, everyday tasks require less effort. Less strain = more energy for the things you actually enjoy.
---
💭 And if you’re injured… 🥰
Being injured is exhausting in ways people don’t always see.
Your body is working overtime to heal.
You may feel frustrated, less independent, and stuck doing less than you’re used to.
Your nervous system stays heightened… and sleep can suffer too.
All of that takes energy.
---
💛 Here’s how you can manage that and protect your energy 💛
Be kind to yourself — healing takes time
Focus on what your body *can* do, not what it can’t (right now)
Allow yourself to accept support — you don’t have to do it all alone
Pace yourself when returning to activity — progress doesn’t need to be rushed
Book yourself a massage 😉
---
Healing isn’t just about fixing the body—it’s about restoring balance, energy, and trust in yourself again.
Take care of your body, and it will take care of you 🤍
