The towel is sooooooo soft as it's made from bamboo just like the face cloths you get free with the Smoothing Cleanser (my absolute favourite product!! If you only ever try 1 Tropic product, make it the Smoothing Cleanser, you'll be hooked!)

Hugo is looking a bit bemused by todays mask mapping. 🤣

It feels weird not smiling in a picture but unfortunately the masks don't allow for smiles.

This is the one aspect of my skincare routine I am a bit rubbish with. Applying a face mask 1-2 times a week is hard to fit in for this busy mum of 3, but today I thought I'd do some mask mapping.

Sometimes not all areas of your face need the same treatment so with Tropic masks, they are great to mix and match to your skins needs. I did mine as follows:

Chin = Clear Skin Blemish Fighting Mask. I suffer from monthly hormonal outbreaks so the arrival of a spot on my chin this morning prompted this.

Cheeks/face = Face Lift Brightening Tightening Mask.
The big 40 and not looking after my skin well enough when I was younger means it could always do with a lift and tighten and brighten here and there.

Forehead/nose = Deep Hydration Soothing Cooling Mask.
After yesterday's 11km walk in the sun (factor 50 SPF applied of course) I felt my head and nose could do with rehydration.

This unexpected sun has made me get a wriggle on with ordering my sun cream, especially the sun stick for Hugo, but one thing that is part of my daily routine is a good SPF come rain or shine.

Whether it's winter or summer, you're indoors or out, an SPF should be used on your skin every day. As much as we all love the sun, it is the number 1 culprit for contributing to aging your skin.

I use Tropic Sun Day factor 50 SPF every day after my cleanse and moisturise and before my make up. It is non greasy so doesn't clog pores and is so smooth it is the perfect primer to apply make up on afterwards if you choose to.
