I can’t believe we did this in 3 weeks!
I will tag all the tradesmen who helped to get my salon looking a million dollars 😍

Everything went as smooth as possible, or at least that’s how it looked 😂 I wasn’t there when there was about 8 different tradesmen in the salon but they honestly did an amazing job. They did everything on time. And thennnnn my optimistic brain told me we could paint a salon in two days and tile two pedicure areas in two days … LOL. BUT we did it, it might have been a 20hour day but it was done.

The plasterer, plumber, joiner, builder and electrician literally smashed this. I told them what I wanted and they delivered.

My favourite part, the new ceiling 👌🏼 you all know how much I HATED that ceiling. So please admire and compliment the new one 😂

POST NUMBER ONE … (finally 🙈, 3 months after opening)

The start of me thinking ‘WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING’! 😂

As you all know I’ve been talking about this salon renovation for the last TWO YEARS. I’d been waiting on the council and a date with the builder. And finally in September 2025 we got the thumbs up and booked Alan in. (Shout out to Alan and Darren who did the most amazing building work to the salon).

Day one of ripping the salon out and we genuinely couldn’t have done it without these people. Our ride or die’s, Amy, Stu and Charlie we owe you a lifetime worth of sushi 😂 (more thank yous to come)

This post is to also thank the girls, Alice Curtis Beauty and .beautywellness for persevering with all the building work that started in December, YES DECEMBER 😂. You powered through the noise, the dirt, the singing builders and the cold that felt colder than Antarctica. I really hope Salon 2.0 was worth it all as you both deserve to work in a salon that suits your professionalism.
