On the 26th March 2026 the Orgreave Inquiry officially launched as an independent statutory public inquiry to establish a fuller understanding of the events at Orgreave Coking Plant on 18 June 1984 and the subsequent prosecutions.
As part of the launch, the Inquiry is inviting anyone with relevant information to come forward and contribute.
An Information Leaflet is now available on the NARPO website at www.narpo.org/orgreave-inquiry/ explaining the purpose of the Inquiry, how it will carry out its work, the types of information it is seeking, and the different ways you can share your experiences. It also includes a questionnaire that can be completed and returned by post if you wish.
