How spray tan appointments have got us feeling during the heatwave 🥵 🌞 🔥

✓ Stay in a cool, well-ventilated environment where possible.
✓ Avoid exercise, gym sessions, long walks, gardening, housework, or any activity that may cause sweating.
✓ Wear loose, dark clothing and avoid tight waistbands, bras, leggings, socks, or shoes that may rub against the skin.
✓ Avoid sitting on leather or non-breathable surfaces.
✓ Do not apply moisturiser, deodorant, perfume, or any other products to the skin until after your first rinse.
✓ Avoid getting wet from, swimming pools, hot tubs, or showers before your rinse time.

If you do sweat, don’t panic. Gently blot the skin with a soft towel or tissue - do not rub, wipe, or scrub.

Please remember that a spray tan is a cosmetic colour guide while developing and is not waterproof. During extreme temperatures, you may notice additional bronzer transfer or perspiration marks before your first rinse, which is completely normal 🌞✨❤️🔥

It’s getting hot hot hot...! Here’s a few tips to help your tan develop in this heat... 😓

Tip 1 -
🚿 DO NOT shower right before your tan.

Tip 2 -
😎 Stay cool
It doesn't take long for the body to start sweating, and in turn for the tan to run. Try using a talc-based powder to soak up any sweat

Tip 3 -
💨 The body naturally sweats, the tan runs and your body simply wont absorb the solution. PAT yourself dry and not rub the sweat away with a towel.

Tip 4 -
👙 Wear something lose fitting - baggy dress, shorts, baggy top, thin pjs.
Definitely not leggings or anything tight! I’d even avoid dressing gowns as they’re thick and cosy!

🤦🏻‍♀️ Tip 5 - Please DO NOT shave your legs before your appointment. The heat is making it hard for the tan to dry and freshly shaved legs make it even harder!!

So to keep things super easy for you... shower 2-3 hours before tanning, stay super cool and leave your tanning till the weather has cooled down!
