Todays questions is about scalp scarring, something we don’t speak about enough!

Yes! and it’s one of the most common reasons people come to me. Whether it’s a surgical scar, a hair transplant scar, or one from an injury, SMP works by tattooing tiny pigment dots into the scar tissue itself. Those dots blend with your natural hair follicles, so the scar blends into the pattern instead of standing out, even with hair over it, it just disappears.

It takes a few sessions to build the density right, but once it’s healed, most people can’t even find the scar unless I point to it.

It’s restoration of confidence and of identity, it is a part of someone’s story that surgery or illness took away.

That’s why privacy comes first here. No spectacle. No rush. Just the right space, for the right reasons.

A quick update regarding my ar**la restoration content.

Unfortunately, some of my ar**la tattooing posts have been incorrectly flagged by Meta as inappropriate content.

To protect my account and ensure I can continue sharing my work and supporting my clients online, I’ve made the decision to temporarily pause posting ar**la restoration results on social media while this is being resolved.

This does not affect the service I provide, and I will continue to offer ar**la restoration tattooing as normal.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be creating a dedicated space on my website where you can safely view my ar**la restoration portfolio, learn more about the treatment, and access information without the limitations of social media platforms.

Last week, in my studio in Tyne and Wear, I had the pleasure of welcoming an incredible lady who had undergone an elective mastectomy. What an amazing woman she is.

Both ar**las had been reconstructed using skin grafts, and this was her second session with me.

In this video, I explain how we transformed both ar**las which were created using skin grafts.

The original reconstruction had healed incredibly well and retained the texture it needed. However, a later tattoo had been done in an attempt to create symmetry, which unfortunately left my client feeling self-conscious due to differences in tone and the transition from textured grafted skin to flatter surrounding skin.

Using the art of realistic tattooing, we were able to continue the appearance of texture onto the flatter skin, creating the illusion that the graft texture naturally flows throughout the entire ar**la.

Every ar**la tattoo is completely unique and carefully assessed on an individual basis. Multiple sessions are often needed to achieve the most natural and realistic result possible.
