Bus Diaries - Weeks 2 & 3 🚍

Not much action these past few weeks unfortunately.
I’ve been knee deep in branding bits and getting my car ready to sell.

Am I desperate to start? Yes.
Am I broke until the car goes? Also yes.

So if you know anyone who wants a very pretty Focus ST, send them my way pls 🙋🏼‍♀️

Silver lining though, I think I’ve finally nailed the logo and I’m obsessed 😍.
I’ve also scoped out some solid locations and a few potential festival pitches 🤞

Bus Update - Week 1 🚍

This week’s mainly been about clearing out the Welshpool shop, brain storming ideas, and getting the ST ready to go up for sale so I can free up some much needed monies 💸

In between all that, I’ve been deep in my own head planning the layout for inside the bus… and I think I’ve got it! 😍
You all know I’m very much a go hard or go home kinda gal, so it’s gonna look insane when it’s done.

Next week is shaping up to be admin heavy. Sourcing materials and diving into a rebrand.
I do love a fresh logo 👀

Firstly… thank you.
The amount of love, messages, comments and genuine excitement I’ve had over the last couple of days has been amazing. I’m so grateful for every single one of you. This is something I’ve been dreaming about for a while, and seeing it be met with so much positivity means more than I can put into words 🖤

So… why did I come to this decision?
Let me tell you the story.

2025… what a year 😅
Honestly, it felt like three years rolled into one. You might have noticed things went a little quiet on my page, and that’s because behind the scenes, life was absolutely throwing hands and I was losing.

I started the year in my Welshpool studio with full intentions of settling locally and finally feeling grounded. But the universe had a very different plan for us.
Everything that could go wrong… did. And I mean it was full on bollox.

But if the s**t that happened, hadn’t of happened, I wouldn’t be here now… with a freaking bus 😂
The universe works in the most chaotic ways, and by now I’ve learned to trust it, even when it makes absolutely no sense 🫠

Moving to Welshpool changed everything for me.
It opened my eyes to the fact that I don’t need to stay in one place to do what I love.

I knew the move was a risk. I expected to lose clients. I expected people to drift away.
Instead, I was completely overwhelmed by the support.

I had people saying “wherever you go, I’ll follow” and you actually did.
People travelling 60+ miles, weekly, just to see little old me 🥺

I want to go everywhere.
I want to keep doing what I love, with the people I love, without being tied down.

Opening a studio in every town isn’t exactly realistic… so the cogs started turning.
And if you know me, you know once an idea gets into my head… it’s happening.

Which brings me to the bus…
And only I would buy an ex church bus and turn it into an aesthetics and tattoo studio 😂
And not just any church bus this absolute beast was previously used as a freaking disco bus. 🪩

Turns out Jesus loves a jam 😂

However, she’s not quite ready for visitors yet. There’s work to be done before I welcome you through those doors 🚍
But you know me, I love a DIY project, and I already have the whole grand design planned out in my head. I can not wait to get me’ saw and hammer out again!

So please make sure you’re keeping up with my posts, because I’ll be sharing the entire journey as it happens.

So what’s the plan going forward?
This summer is shaping up to be a GOOD one ☝️
Festivals, weddings, familiar faces, new faces and a whole lot of freedom.

Nothing is fully set in stone just yet. She’s a big old gal, and the thought of getting her big b***y down certain streets gives me anxiety 😅
But what I can promise is that I’ll be making myself accessible across multiple towns and my Midlands and Welsh babes will absolutely be covered.

This bus is going to give me the freedom to keep building, growing, and doing what I’ve done for the last 8 years, just on a much bigger scale.

This is a risk. A risk that I’m selling my car to make happen. My car that I have put a lot ♥️ into and treat like my child 🥲.

So please help me make this crazy dream work.

This is a new era.
A scary one.
A chaotic one.
But one I’m so ready for.

✨ BIG ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

Growth can be loud, messy, confusing and exciting all at once.
Sometimes life forces you into places you never expected. And sometimes it quietly shows you it’s time to move forward.

I will be leaving Welshpool at the end of 2025.

Before anybody panics!! no, this is NOT the end.
Not for me. Not for you. Not for Studio SIXX.
If anything… it’s the start of something much bigger.

This past year has been one of the craziest and hardest years of my life.
A year full of growth, frustration, laughter, breakthroughs, and some of the biggest struggles I’ve ever faced.
A year that has tested me over and over… and still pushed me forward.
And I’ve realised that when life keeps pushing, it’s usually trying to take you somewhere new.

So yes, I know I’m at it again. Yes, I know I never sit still for long 🤣
But this decision will benefit EVERYONE.
It’s going to completely change the way I work.

Let’s just say I’ll be able to accommodate EVERYONE by doing this.. including my West Midlands babes who’ve been dying to have me back! 👀
That’s all I’m revealing for now 😉

I am gutted in a way, honestly.
I’ve poured my whole heart into that little studio at Puzzle Square.
But there have been things behind the scenes that have made this decision the right one.
Sometimes we’re not meant to stay where we planted our seeds… we’re meant to grow beyond them.

BOOK ASAP my availability will be VERY limited.
