But in my experience?
It’s usually build-up ‼️

Flakes don’t always mean dryness, and itchy doesn’t always mean dehydrated.

Sometimes your scalp just isn’t being properly cleansed.

And adding oil on top is just making the problem worse, not better 🫣

Your scalp is skin. It doesn’t need coating, it needs cleansing.

Try this first:
- Shampoo twice (sometimes three times)
- Focus on your scalp, not just your hair
- Stay consistent with your wash routine

Then see how your scalp responds 👀

I’ve been in the industry for over 10 years, and have been working with naturally curly hair for the last 6!

It’s been a journey 🥹

Working with curly hair professionally wasn’t actually something I’d planned on - nor was it an option when I did traditional training - but with my own experience dealing with my own curls, I was able to use the knowledge I had and build on it over time!
So I really mean it when I say this life chose me 🤣🥰

As a naturally introverted, slightly socially awkward girlie, the dream was to have a private salon just for me and my clients. A space where it felt safe, welcoming and peaceful 🩷
