What a Person Who Doesn’t Love You Looks Like
Unlove is when you’re not allowed to be a bother, not allowed to tell them what you want and how you feel.
Not allowed to talk, to laugh, or to come close with a hug.
You’re not allowed to share your worries, as they’re nonsense, not real feelings (in their opinion).
You’re not allowed to ask for anything, but supposed to understand that things are hard.
"And really, why would you need that anyway?"
You’re not allowed to rely on help: grown-ups should manage on their own, but on their terms.
If you’re 35 that’s practically old age.
Unlove is when you’re not scolded too harshly, but never praised either.
When you’re not noticed.
When you feel awkward eating next to someone close, because they might say you eat too much.
When the food you cook is eaten and no one says anything.
When no one sees the effort you put into cleaning, or placing flowers in a vase. You just need to live as they want you, because they made you and you "owe" them your life.
Unlove is when nothing is allowed, but you must be submissive.
When you bother, inconvenience, meddle, say stupid things, “get on people’s nerves,” so you sit quietly in a corner and wait to be taken out for a walk.
And don’t whine, don’t complain, don’t cry, just stay still and wait.
When no one defends you and you’re told: it’s your fault and you are not alloed to have an opinion
When you’re given nothing, but you must give everything. When "I make money for you and you owe me everything, 'cause I sacrificed for you".
It’s not hatred. And sometimes it’s even worse, because hatred has a cause: envy, for example.
Then you can leave or fight back.
But when you are unloved, it’s simply so, without a reason.
Even though you’re told: “I do love you, but leave me alone, you’ve started again!” That is unlove.
Because of it, people die.
Grown adults who are helpless and sensitive.
Unlove makes a person timid, clumsy, tense, and ugly, afraid of ruining everything, of bothering, of irritating.
There’s not much you can do.
If you still have strength, you must leave, and tell them that is not love. It is abuse.

Real connection between a woman and a man is not built on intensity, chasing, or surface attraction.
It grows in presence. In consistency. In how two people listen, respond, and show up when it matters.
It’s in conversations that feel safe, not confusing.
In respect that doesn’t need to be demanded.
In effort that is natural, not forced.
A meaningful connection doesn’t rush, doesn’t diminish, and doesn’t require one person to shrink so the other can feel bigger.
It allows both to be themselves: curious, imperfect, human.
Depth is not drama.
Boundaries are not distance.
And real interest never feels like uncertainty, it feels lile safety and trust. It feels like home.
Choose the connection that feels calm, honest, and mutual.
That’s where real love begins.

I was listening today a podcast where it was a debate on either forgiveness is weakness or blessing...

Or, we should forgive, forget and stay away from that someone you love and they hurt you, as they can do it again and you may be hurt again?
