Today’s transformation was a big one.
Our lovely new client came to us after another stylist had unfortunately left her with damaged colour and poorly installed extensions. Her previous full head of highlights had bled in almost every foil, leaving harsh bleach stripes throughout the hair, and the extensions had been installed far too tight and heavy which even caused bleeding on her scalp.
Step one was carefully removing the extensions and correcting the colour. I worked through back-to-back foils with a root smudge in between to soften and blend those harsh lines. Once toned and blow-dried, we could finally see the beautiful colour we’d created.
After assessing her hair, we reduced the number of rows for a healthier, more suitable extension install. Her previous set had simply been too much for her natural hair, which had caused excessive shedding.
The final result?
A seamless colour, a safe extension install, and a very happy client.
