Hey guys, I thought I’d just take a sec to engage with you all on a more personal level, so you can get to know myself and PrettySlick.

So, a bit about me:

I’m Jaye, the owner and main PMU artist at PrettySlick.

To most people’s surprise I am actually an economics graduate, with a full time job in Investment Management in London. Throughout the lockdown in 2019 however I decided that I wanted to train to do something outside of my job. I’m sure everyone can relate it’s hard out here with only one income!

With that, I first entered the SMP world (scalp micropigmentation) and built up my beloved . It totally took off and I discovered I’m actually kinda talented with a tattoo gun, and I have a real passion for making people feel good about themselves.

The natural next step for me was to use my skills and machine to offer something for women too, so I branched out into permanent makeup, and have been loving it ever since.

It definitely won’t stop here, I’m kind of a workaholic if you couldn’t tell 😇 but currently the immediate next steps for PrettySlick are to start offering lip blush and permanent eyeliner. I am also always on the lookout for talented artists who want to link up, I only have so many hours and as much as I would love to work 24hrs a day - I need my 💤s 😂

I am so grateful that I get to be a part of these different industries though, and meet such different and incredible people. I’m also grateful to for being the biggest supporters ❤️❤️

Everyone receives an immediate after-care card straight after the procedure, but there are also some longer term considerations to help your eyebrow tattoos to stay sharp and nicely coloured. Although this care is fairly minimal, we recommend:

☑️ Keep them moisturised, but avoid anti-aging creams in the area, as they can affect your tattoos

☑️ Avoid certain skin treatments in the area, such as chemical peels, laser rejuvenation and microdermabrasion. If you plan a skin treatment, tell your beautician about your permanent eyebrow tattoo.

☑️ Always use sunscreen, as sunlight and tanning beds will fade your semi eyebrow tattoos faster
