Success! Completed coffee and coconutsoap. Lovely creamy soap with a super-exfoliant side, full of vit E, avocado, coconut oil, olive oil and a hint of eucalyptus. I also used a mix of coconut oil and coconut milk for extra moisturiser. Can't wait to use it tomorrow!

Well that weekend went fast!
Step 1 of coffee soap.... have nice cup of coffee. At this point, definitely decaf!

Going to make a new batch of coffee and coconut soap with avocado oil. Coffee soap was my first entry into homemade soap as I wanted a facial soap which exfoliated without removing all skin and moisture!
Everyone who knows me knows my hatred of avocado as a food, but as an oil it's brilliant; moisturising, loads of vitamins, and helps heal skin damage.
Coffee grounds are great in soap, they mostly sink to the bottom which leaves you a two sided soap, one smoother, one exfoliating! Will post pictures once they're made. X

Just a reminder of the products I have now; natural scented coconut oil soap (scents are lavender, lemon, peppermint and bergamot), honey and lemon lip balm, Shea and chamomile new mum ni**le soothe and breast milk baby skin/nappy balm kit.

At last!! After a lot of tweaking and practice, here is the breast milk nappy/skin balm kit!
Comes in a handy tin with instructions, basically melt, mix in your breast milk, set and go! Has been amazing for my little one's sensitive skin, all nappy rash and dryness gone.

New batches! This weekend it's going to be a new batch of soap and lip balm.
Feedback has been super useful for me in getting started with this, so I've adapted some recipes to make the new lip balm even better!

Let's talk breastmilk :-). Making my own breastmilk products was recommended to me for my son's incredibly dry and sensitive baby skin... I made both and the difference has been amazing, no dry or cracked skin, nappy rash completely cleared up, and no more reaction flare-ups.
I originally looked at buying some but didn't want to use any with someone else's breast milk, however healthy they might be! But making my own was difficult without buying loads of ingredients. So I've created two base products with all the ingredients in, created and set, so all that's needed is breastmilk! There is a shea soap base kit and a skin balm kit. Pictures coming soon - feel free to ask for more information - they will be going on my Etsy soon!

This may not look great currently, but infusing oils with herbs/plants is a great way to get extra goodness into products! Currently brewing a batch of natural ni**le salve, something definitely needed by feeding mums, made with chamomile infused oils.
