Do your lips look unbalanced or seem to vanish when you smile? This might be why…

You may have what’s known as M shaped lips, one of the most trickiest lip shapes to correct.

M-shaped lips are defined by a more prominent centre just below the Cupid’s bow, with thinner outer corners. This creates a 3D “M” appearance across the top lip, which can flatten or disappear when you smile - often making the lips look uneven, especially from the side or in motion.

For this client, the goal was to restore proportion. Her upper lip was much smaller than the bottom, and her main concern was that it vanished when she smiled, a classic feature of the M shape.

We used just 0.5ml to softly build structure and create symmetry, without overfilling. With lips like this, a gradual approach is key. Starting small allows the lips to adjust naturally and gives us room to build if needed.
