Running a salon is more than just the appointment time you sit in the chair 💭

Lately I’ve had quite a few last-minute cancellations, people swapping appointments at the last minute, arriving very late, or not turning up at all. I always try my best to accommodate everyone, be flexible and understanding because I know life happens — especially as a busy mum myself 🤍

But every missed or changed appointment costs me money, time and space that could have been offered to another client waiting for an appointment. As a small business, it really does have a big impact.

I’ve never liked taking deposits or charging cancellation fees because I trust my clients and want things to feel easy and relaxed — but unfortunately it’s getting to the point where I may have to introduce them moving forward to protect my time and business.

I appreciate every single client who turns up on time, gives notice if they need to rearrange, and supports my business properly. It honestly means more than you know 🤍

Very late to the party but I hope everyone’s had a fabulous new year.
We’ve had a very busy week settling indie and Rocco into new nurseries. And after a lovely break I’m now ready to throw myself back into work and start pampering everyone again.

I’ve not been great on social media the past year and I don’t normally make resolutions but I’m going to promise myself ill be better on here 🤎

My diary is now open for January and February and I will also be opening my books to new clients

I’d also like to thank everyone over the past year that has followed me and been patient whilst sorting the new salon it really doesn’t go unmissed. .

It’s with a heavy heart that I have decided to close the salon.

I’ve had the most amazing 5years, but unfortunately after a long few weeks deliberating, due to the current economic climate and other situations out of my control It’s with sadness to say I will be closing the salon doors with immediate effect.

I’ve decided to take a step back and priorities my family, moving house and building our dream home. (Watch this space for future business announcements 😊)

Although the salon won’t be open I will still be available for home appointments, if this is something that suits you please get into contact. (This is subject to change as my plans do)

I’d like to thank all the Gigi girls for all the effort and support over the past few years and especially the last few weeks , you have all been amazing to work with. ❤️

My loyal friends and family who have supported me and helped me along the way but especially my husband who no matter what I decide to do he supports me and makes it happen.

Most importantly every single person who has visited the salon, liked or shared a post and spread the word about us we all do appreciate it.
