For a long time, I thought building a brand meant finding the perfect logo, colours and aesthetic.
So I did what I thought I was supposed to do.
I tried to fit into the version of a beauty business that everyone seemed to be creating.
Clean.
Polished.
Perfect.
But the more I grew, the more I realised something.
The people who supported Glow weren’t connecting with a logo.
They were connecting with me.
The girl who will spend 20 minutes explaining ingredients because she genuinely loves education.
The girl who is a little chaotic, a little stubborn, sometimes too honest and definitely not beige.
The girl who built a business while still figuring herself out.
And somewhere along the way, I stopped asking what my brand should look like.
I started asking what feels like me.
Because here’s something nobody tells you when you’re building a brand:
People don’t connect with perfection.
They connect with people.
The strongest brands aren’t always the prettiest or the most polished. They’re the ones that feel real, consistent and human.
The ones where you know exactly who is behind them.
This isn’t a rebrand.
It’s not a logo reveal.
It’s simply the first time my business feels like an extension of who I am instead of something I’m trying to fit into.
The truth is, Glow was never meant to look like everyone else.
It was meant to look like me.
And for the first time, it finally does. ❤️
If you’re building something right now and feeling like your brand doesn’t quite fit, maybe the answer isn’t changing yourself.
Maybe it’s giving yourself permission to be seen.
Maybe some of you needed to hear this too 🤍🙋🏼♀️

WE ARE TURNING TWO 🖤
Honestly, when I started Glow Studios, I had no idea what I was doing.
I didn’t have a following.
I didn’t have loads of clients.
I definitely didn’t have everything figured out.
What I did have was a stubborn belief that if I worked hard enough, kept learning, and genuinely cared about the people sitting in my chair, eventually it would all be worth it.
I guess you could call it delusion too. 😂
There have been amazing moments, difficult moments, days where I questioned everything, and days where I couldn’t believe this was actually my job.
Impostor syndrome? Still thriving. 🤝
But somehow, two years later, we’re here.
In those two years I’ve met some incredible people, built relationships with clients who have become friends (more of my clients have added me to their Close Friends than my actual friends 😂), and pushed myself out of my comfort zone more times than I can count.
None of it would have happened without the people who booked appointments, shared my posts, recommended me to their friends, or simply believed in me when Glow was still just an idea.
So thank you. Truly.
Thank you for being part of this journey. 🤍
And if you’ve been here since day one…
You’ve not seen anything yet. 👀
One thing I’ve learned doing lash lifts?
Not everything that looks “perfect” is actually healthy.
Social media has made people expect every lash to be lifted identically, every brow to be laminated into place, and every result to look flawless from every angle.
Real lash artistry is knowing when to stop.
I’d rather give you healthy lashes that keep coming back for lifts than chase a result that looks amazing for a week and damages your lashes in the long run.
Maybe that’s controversial 🤷♀️
What’s more important to you: the strongest possible lift, or keeping your natural lashes health?
ASMR because good products make good brows 🙋🏼♀️🤍

Here is a scenario: you go to get your brow lamination and they end up looking dry and way too dark. Why? Because many techs don’t fully understand that lamination changes the porosity of the brow hair meaning tint grabs much quicker after the treatment.
Without adjusting the formula and timing properly, the result can easily look overly saturated or dehydrated instead of soft and fluffy.
Great lamination isn’t just about the technique it’s about understanding the science behind the hair too 🤍
