PROTEIN BOOST

✨ Did you know that 90% of our hair is made up of a protein called Keratin?
Keratin makes up the softness and strength in each hair strand. Over time and due to natural environmental factors like sun, air pollution, and repeated styling, hair looses it's natural keratin. Which makes your hair look dull, fizzy and hard to manage.

✨ During a keratin treatment I add a lot of protein back into cuticle which instantly makes your hair softer, healthier and easier to manage.

✨Reduces hair styling time and great for winter months if like me you hate waiting hours for your hair to dry naturally.

✨ Suitable for ALL hair types.

✨ Softness lasts up to 3 to 5 months depending on natural hair texture and aftercare.

Had to share!

πŸ₯₯ COCONUT OIL πŸ₯₯

In many posts I see many people using coconut oil in their hair. I’d just like to explain a few things as to why this condiment doesn’t belong in the hair.

Often people will use coconut oil when they feel their hair needs moisture.
Now, oil and water do not mix.. the oil repels water and either pushes it out of the hair or won’t let it pe*****te.
Coconut oil tents to seep into every little hole and layer on our hair shaft and disguise any damage or roughness and is a quick fix, but not a good one.

The oil will build up on the hair each time you apply it. Each time it’s seeping in and drying hard, like wax. Coconut oil is not water soluble. And requires a deep cleansing shampoo to remove build up, and just one shampoo won’t cut it..

As the layers build up, your hair is unable to soak up anything else. No leave ins, no oils, no treatments. Nothing. So your hair is suffocating under that build up. Now when wax hardens, it snaps. Having that build up causes loads of breakage through out the hair. So your hair will constantly be snapping through out.

Now while that’s coating the hair, it’s also coating the scalp and can clog up the oil glands and also the hairs follicles. If you block the follicles, you stop hair from growing. As your strands are suffocating and snapping, and no new hairs growing, you’ll get thinner and thinner.

We use oil in our deep fryers. When we do that we fry a chip (or what ever) and cook it, right? A straightener is about 230 degrease. I fry my chips at 170..
When wax heats up and dries. It hardens. Hello even more breakage. A dryer is about roughly in between 230 and 180.

Coconut oil cannot pe*****te. When a hair product says it has coconut oil in there, it kinda does, but it’s only the extract of coconut oil that’s there and products must have a certain amount to be able to say they have coconut oil in the product.
