What I wish more women knew about perimenopause… 🤍

Lately, my body has been speaking LOUDER than ever — and I’ve been listening.

✨ What I’ve noticed:
• Hot flushes that come out of nowhere
• Waves of anxiety I can’t always explain
• Dark, intrusive thoughts that feel so unlike me
• Brain fog (like I’ve walked into a room and forgotten why)
• Cycle changes + heavier periods
• Weight fluctuations — both loss and gain
• Low libido
• And now… histamine hives appearing on my skin

This phase isn’t “just hormones” — it’s a full-body shift. And the link between perimenopause and histamine is REAL. As oestrogen fluctuates, it can trigger histamine intolerance… leading to symptoms like hives, itching, and inflammation.

I’m sharing this because someone else might be feeling the same and wondering “what is happening to me?”
