There’s something so special about floating beneath the open sky as the sounds of crystal singing bowls, gongs and gentle percussion drift across the water. Last week’s afternoon session at Albert Avenue Lido was filled with calm, connection and moments of complete stillness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared the experience with us. Watching the pool become quieter, the world slow down and everyone simply take time to rest is always a privilege.

Another beautiful evening at Ilkley Lido last week. 💙

While we were away exploring Wales with our family, the wonderful Jo held the space for our guests and hosted another of our floating sound baths. We’re so grateful to have such a fantastic team around us, ensuring every event receives the same care, calm and attention that Synergy is known for.

It’s lovely knowing that even when we’re taking a much-needed break, our guests are still able to enjoy the experience.

Just a little note to let everyone know that we’re taking a few days away as a family to explore North Wales.

During this time we’ll have very limited access to emails, messages and phone signal, so responses may be a little slower than usual.

The world moves fast. Here, for a little while, it doesn’t have to. 🌅

As the sun begins to set over the lido, the water settles, the sounds soften, and the outside world starts to fade away.

One of the most powerful moments of the evening is the deep, grounding rhythm of the shamanic drum. Its steady heartbeat echoes across the water, inviting you to slow your breath, release the day behind you, and reconnect with yourself. Combined with the gentle movement of the pool beneath you, it’s an experience unlike any other.

For 90 minutes, phones are forgotten, busy minds become quiet, and all that’s left is the sound of the instruments, the warmth of the evening air, and the feeling of complete relaxation.

Last week’s Floating Sound Bath at Ilkley Lido was another beautiful evening, and we’re so grateful to everyone who joined us.

✨ Our remaining Ilkley dates are fully booked, but we’ll be visiting other outdoor pools and lidos throughout the summer where there is still availability.

🌿 PAYF Lakeside Sound Bath & Wild Swimming Returns 🌿

Last summer, this simple community gathering brought together over 100 people by the water for evenings of swimming, connection and sound beneath the Yorkshire sky.

We’re delighted to be bringing it back for the first time this year.

Join us by the lake for a relaxed summer evening surrounded by nature. Arrive from 6:30pm, meet like-minded people, take in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy a deeply relaxing sound bath as the sun begins to set.

Wild swimming is completely optional and can be enjoyed either before or after the sound bath. Please note that all swimming is undertaken at your own risk.

This is a Pay As You Feel event because we believe wellbeing should be accessible to everyone, regardless of circumstances.
