A day after her 14th birthday, Miley stepped into the number 6 role and did a brilliant job.
Although we were in Birkenshaw, we’re sure you could hear her back in Warrington! Her communication throughout the game was outstanding as she constantly organised the team, ran the attacking line and explained exactly what she wanted players to be doing.
She helped set up some great attacking plays and showed real confidence and control in the halves. It was a mature performance far beyond her years and fully deserving of the Player’s Player award.

Hindley Hinds U15s V Culcheth Eagles U15s Development.

Last Saturday the development girls went away to a very cold and windy Hindley.
Culcheth had a mix of new and experienced players playing against a strong Hinds side.
Hindley took an early lead and didn’t look back, using speed on the wings to their advantage.
The Eagles girls didn’t give up and worked well together, especially when having to rotate players due to
injuries and going a player down. The Eagles threatened the Hindley line a few times before finally scoring a well-worked and well-deserved converted try.
Not an easy game but one the girls enjoyed and will take a lot from.
