Introducing… Me!

I know a large number of my followers are already patients,but for those of you I am yet to meet, let me introduce myself.

I am Amy and I am a skin and laser specialist based at ESHO Clinic in London (and occasionally Liverpool)

I have worked in the beauty industry for 6 years specialising in skin for the last 4.

With my love of everything beauty and science being one of my favourite subjects at school, treating skin just made total sense.

Once I opened Pandora’s box of ‘skin’ I was instantly hooked!

I love how in-depth and complex the subject is everyday, I am still learning and I get so much enjoyment guiding and educating my patients on why their skin is behaving the way it is and how we can improve their skin health, often improving my patients confidence along the way.

Did you know... I am a qualified phlebotomist?!

This means I can take blood from a patient to be used in treatment.

But why?! You might be wondering
One word. PLASMA

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma and is a form of therapy in which the patients own platelets are needled into the skin to accelerate the skin’s healing process.

As the platelets are taken from the patients own blood there is NO chance of having any allergic reaction to the treatment.

I draw a small amount of blood from the patients arm into a vial. This blood is then placed into a centrifuge machine to isolate and concentrate the platelets which will then be needled back into the desired sight.

This treatment can be used anywhere on the face and body, but it is most popular when needled under the eye, through the hair line and into any scarring.

The Byonik Laser!

One of my all time favourite treatments!

The Byonik laser skin treatment is a skin rejuvenation system with pulse triggered laser, Hyaluronic Acid and Antioxidants. The pulse triggered laser adapts its frequency to the pulse throughout the whole treatment. Two wave lengths of energy at one with the patient’s heartbeat.

The Byonik laser treatment recognises that key regeneration processes are responsible for keeping the skin looking young which over time start to slow down.

Byonik laser treatment is brilliant for treating impaired skins, patients with couperose and sensitive skin and rosacea.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

The Byonik laser treatment has a great safety profile and damage to the skin is not possible as it uses cold laser technology therefore there is no downtime for this treatment and is also totally pain free.

HOW FREQUENTLY SHOULD I HAVE THE BYONIK LASER TREATMENT?
The Byonik treatment can be had daily however, most patients have a session every 2-4 weeks.

What a transformation 😍

Our patient has now completed her year long ‘Skin Lab’ journey ESHO Clinic and has a maintenance plan mapped out. Just look at those results!!

My patient came to the clinic to receive help for a condition called Folliculitis.

Folliculitis is a common skin condition in which hair follicles become inflamed from infection.

We have achieved this incredible result by making a small change to the skin care products my patient is using at home and by having monthly Byonik Laser treatments.

Now the infection is under control we have started laser hair removal to ensure we stop this condition returning once and for all.
