Back to Normal!!! Yay!!!
After 3 weeks of having Covid in the house, we are finally clear.
I have the house to myself.
It’s a weird virus, Millie, Grace & Lee had it. Tom temporarily moved out, and I stayed negative! Obviously they did not go out the house, but in the house they did not isolate and yet I still didn’t get it.
Very Weird.
Anyway, back to normal.

She’s ok!!

She’s feeling very sorry for herself and keeps looking at us as if to say “why did you let them do that?”.

Very sad and subdued but I’m sure she start getting better tomorrow. 🐶

This little lovely is going for her little girl op tomorrow. 😢 A slightly nervous mummy here.

Gonna be weird not having her around for the day - my little shadow - but she’ll get lots of love when she gets home.

She’ll be 4 in June!!!! I really can’t remember life before her!!

Sad girls today. 😢

We found out today that the Joe and Dianne show has been cancelled. After over a year of waiting. Not surprising but still upsetting.

The girls had the tickets for their main Christmas present last Christmas 2019. It was supposed to be last March but got postponed til this April. It’s now been cancelled.

Bless them. Now we’re planning what to do instead, although planning anything at the moment is a bit of a no no!

Feel bad for them that they’ve been so patient and so excited. More life lessons learnt.

This time last year I was away at a kickstart training event in Warwickshire.

This year, due to Covid, we had to meet online. It’s not quite the same and looking at photos from last year it makes me sad to think that I haven’t seen these amazing people since last February.

However, the training was equally as inspiring and emotional in places and we spent time together chatting online.

Over the weekend we were asked to think of one word that we are going to take with us through this year.

My word is ‘choose’. I chose this word because although we cannot always control our circumstances, we can ‘choose’ how we respond to them. We can ‘choose’ what we do and what we don’t do. We can’t complain that we haven’t done something, if we chose not to do it or chose to do something else. We ‘choose’ how we react to certain circumstances.

What will your word be?

Last January I went away for a fab weekend away with the company for our kickstart training.

Sadly, this year we obviously can’t be there. Instead the company are doing it online.

I’m very sad not to be meeting up with my friends (teammates), but it can’t be too bad, snuggled up on the sofa, chatting with my friends whilst we all watch the training. Glass of wine, crisps and chocolate.

Tomorrow morning, I’ll be watching in bed!! How easy is that!!
