I'm very pleased to say I'll be back at work from Monday July 20th 😁. It's been a long time and I can't wait to see you all again. You have all been very patient 🙏
Lockdown Remains For Massage Therapists
There has been some confusion on this in the industry so I want to reiterate the stance from our professional association the STA and also the GCMT.
Sports Massage is not deemed a Healthcare Service so will not be recommended to return to work on June 1st. We are classed as a Personal Care Service and non essential so current guidelines are a potential return in July but yet to be confirmed. Potentially even this may change but we will keep you updated.
The GCMT plan to release guidelines for when we do return to work later this week which will involve the use of PPE for massage therapists, revised cleaning standards and also updated client screening and disclaimer processes. Let's wait until we know what safe might look like for our client and for ourselves.
