This style was created in exactly the same way with the same hair tool and spray just on totally different hair types. All look fabulous but it really demonstrates the differences of us all as individuals.

Whatever the government announce with regards to Covid 19 laws and lifting of restrictions, isolation and testing I would like to announce that Big Day Hair and Makeup will continue its precautions as outlined in the booking forms. There will be no changes to the way I work and request all customers to adhere to the details set out. This will be in place throughout 2022. I’m conscious that due to the critical nature of my role to a wedding day morning that all brides/bridal parties have a duty to other brides/bridal parties (as do I) to ensure all are well enough for their Big Days. That includes LF testing (for any appointment) which may soon be at a cost to you. Thank you for you continued cooperation.

Don’t forget I have Instagram 📸 Been a tough time since March 2020 but I am still about. Limited appointments with full on Covid precautions ongoing. I have heard of a wedding hair and makeup artist infecting the the bride at a trial 2 weeks before an already twice postponed wedding and I will never ever take that chance with you/your family or me/mine. Hey all! It’s been a while and there are a few changes to my service. I am only taking on one makeup per day (to ensure a super duper extra clean of the products and tools can be done between you) be that for a trial or for an actual wedding. Hair styling has no limits applied. I will re-access this as we go into 2022. I’ll always wear a mask and where possible will ask you and your bridal party to do the same. This will help ensure we have all done all we can to ensure everyone’s wedding or special event is not ruined. I will also produce a negative lateral flow test the day before I see you and request you do the same. Having said all that the photos below are how a wedding morning can look while we are being safe……. No different! Lots of laughter and love. Please contact me for your booking requests.

After last nights announcements I’ve been inundated with requests. I’m working through them but I also have the previously postponed brides to re book and organise trials for. Please bear with me while I digest the full details and add my own contingency timings to those dates set out (image below) in case it’s not quite as smooth as the plan. I think we all realise that our getting ready girlie time is not going to be the same for now but its so important we get you looking like the star you are for your special event AND be safe.
