We are Wivenhoe's original gentleman's barbershop, serving Wivenhoe since it first opened in 1982. Since 1985 it has been a family owned business, passing from grandfather to grandson in 2013. Our team here at the Village Squire are dedicated to providing the highest possible standards in men's hairdressing, both modern and traditional.

Happy 50th, Paula!
Half a century—who’d have thought you’d last this long in the shop without losing the plot? Hope you have a great day and take a well-earned break (not that you don’t already find enough excuses to down tools!). It’s been great working with you all this time, and I’m sure the regulars would agree you’re one of the best, the place wouldn’t be the same without you. Enjoy yourself.
