This weekend was forecast to be beautifully warm … the last weekend of summer. Something to cherish as so many of us are unable/unwilling to travel because of Covid. Me too. So I had set my heart on spending today enjoying the rare sunshine that has been our British summer.
Then the morning dawned. Cloudy. Rather cool. And the forecast for the day is no better.
I felt really disappointed. I found myself regretting that I hadn’t chased this summer’s warmth with more fervour.
Maybe you are as well.
And then I saw the quote that is attached to this email….. And I’m starting to change my outlook. Regret is such a negative emotion.
We are where we are. It’s a brand new season. I am determined to enjoy the autumn’s coolness, and to enjoy the few remaining vegetables in my garden, and the beautiful autumn flowers, for soon they will be gone. And I’ll start moving forward with next year’s gardening plans.
Managing your skincare problems is no different.
Perhaps you’re thinking that you have to settle for the skin you see in the mirror. Silently regretting that you didn’t take better care of it in the past.
Why not look at what you see in the mirror and determine to start thinking positively about it.
