When I first opened my clinic in 2020 just before the first lockdown, I had just 10 clients. Fast forward to June 2026, and this month alone I’ve had the privilege of treating 124 clients 🙏🏽🧿

Thinking about Tattoo Removal… but not 100% sure how it actually works? 🤔

You’re not alone…this is one of the most common questions we get.

Because most people expect the tattoo to disappear after one session when in reality, it works very differently.

Here’s the simple version 👇🏼

Laser tattoo removal works by breaking the tattoo ink into tiny particles beneath the skin.

Then your body takes over, your immune system gradually flushes those particles away over the following weeks, which is what actually creates the fading.

That’s why results aren’t instant and why multiple sessions are usually needed.

Each treatment breaks down more ink and your results come from what happens between appointments, not just during them.

A few things to keep in mind:
• Different ink colours respond differently to treatment
• Older tattoos often fade more easily than newer ones
• Your body’s immune system plays a big role in how quickly the ink clears
