The Lazy Frog

Our Wokingham salon will be closed 4th August 2026 due to a planned power cut by Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN), so that they can connect power to some other building in our area.

We asked if they could do this work outside of business hours and we were told that it was not possible, and that we should look to our "loss of business" clauses in our business insurance! 😕

Anyway, our front desk is reaching out to affected customers with bookings that day. It is possible that power would be restored later in the afternoon, but frankly we don't want to take the chance that it won't be. Better to reschedule now while there are alternative appointments within a few days of the 4th August.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. For those able to travel, our Marlow salon will be open as usual that day.

Some of our therapists are parents and have been impacted by school closures due to the heat. As a result, we're running a little short-staffed. We're trying to minimise the impact on any appointments but just a heads-up that we might need to reschedule some.
