May is always my busiest month for wedding days, and this year was no exception as I was a part of eight big days last month. This time of year is what I prepare myself for every year and I’m reminded how important all of the behind the scenes work is during my quieter seasons to make sure I am at my best for my brides.

Since finishing my busiest run of weddings yet, I have received some of the kindest reviews and messages, and I just had to share a few! Words like these mean everything to me and reinforce this job being an absolute dream.

I am so grateful to each and every bride who chooses me to be a part of such an important moment. Makeup is so much more than just how you look, it sets the tone for your wedding day and helps you walk down the aisle with confidence. It will never stop feeling surreal that I call this my job.

IZZY🍾🌹 My beautiful bride Izzy who got married two weekends ago at Stanlake Park! Izzy was the most gorgeous bride and I absolutely loved being a part of her big day. From the second I met her at her trial, I knew her big day would be so much fun!

Her whole look was just stunning, with a light and natural makeup, an effortless half up half down and the most incredible flowers. And the dress?! Doesn’t this look just scream Vineyard Wedding?

MOTHER OF BRIDE🌷🌞 The beautiful Sam! Sam’s daughter Livvie tied the knot last month and it was such a lovely morning to be a part of.

For Sam’s mother of the bride makeup, we kept things soft and natural, choosing to keep the focus on the eyes. I used my favourite Charlotte Tilbury sparkle, a n**e eyeliner pencil in the waterline to brighten the eyes and some individual lashes to add a touch of glamour. You’d never even be able to tell they were false lashes😉

Sam looked absolutely gorgeous and it was a pleasure to be a part of such an important day🤍

PROM MAKEUP🌸🌞 Prom season is fast approaching and my diary is filling up! Over the last few days, I’ve had several girls choose me to do their glams on their prom days and it is making me so excited for this year’s season. This is your sign that if you haven’t yet secured your booking for you prom, make sure to do it ASAP!

Thursday 25th June is my most popular date, with my latest appointment available being at around 12:45pm. Monday 6th July is also proving to be a busy day!

HEN DO GLAM🎀💐 For Susie’s hen do last weekend, the brief was glaaaam! We went for a sparkly pink toned eye makeup with liner and some wispy individual lashes, a full coverage base with lots of blush and a raspberry lip. I am obsessed with this look!!

Your sign that glam doesn’t always have to mean super dark or smokey eyeshadow… my personal favourite version of glam🌸

EMILY🌞🌺 Oh how I’ve looked forward to Emily’s wedding day! I absolutely loved being a part of Emily’s big day, from meeting her at her trial through all of the build up and finally to the I do’s, Emily has been such a gorgeous bride to do makeup for.

Her and her girls were so much fun, I just love this job!! Emily went for a light shimmer across the eyes, paired with a soft brown winged liner, individual lashes and a gorgeous glowy base. The whole look was absolute perfection and I have to say this may be one of my favourite dresses I’ve ever seen.
