As many of you know I suffer lm chronic migraines. Although I take prescription painkillers, a daily prescription med and a monthly injection, I still get them and the last week has been particularly bad. In fact the revolutionary new drug I started taking has unfortunately stopped working and made me put 3 stone on in the process. 😖😭 So this is my new evening routine. Black coffee (weird I know) My shakti mat and a balm infused with lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus oils.

The client asked if I could work on her back this morning. I start with the client face up, so I can massage the arms, shoulders, hands and her face. I then asked her to turn over and I worked on the knots in her back and tension in the shoulders.

It’s been a bit quiet on the old Beauty Box front, but I thought I’d pop on to say hello! 👋🏻

I’ve had a flu thing for nearly two weeks now and haven’t ventured outside. Ophelia has had it, got rid of it and caught it again. It just seems to never want to go away! 😞

This morning I’ve whipped up this smoothie full of goodness to perk us up. Avocado, spinach, chlorella and protein powder. It ain’t pretty, but it tastes great. 🍃

Beauty Box on tour. Privileged to be asked to do the brides nails down in Cornwall this week. The classically elegant French Polish.

Another wonderfully hot one. It’s so important to keep drinking water even if you’re not a fan.

Did you know there are so many signs of dehydration, not just feeling thirsty. These include headaches, a foggy head, lack of concentration, hunger pangs, poor sleep, dark eye circles, muscle cramps, chapped lips… the list goes on. All of that can be rectified with drinking more. 😞

There are also more serious repercussions that include lack of healthy kidney function, low blood pressure and seizures. 🥵

So keep that water up! 💧 💧 💧

May is such a beautiful month! I can’t believe my little girl is going to be one this month! 🌟 There are bank holidays and it’s my wedding anniversary! 💜
