Missed Appointments & No-Shows

As a self-employed hairdresser, my appointment slots are my livelihood. When an appointment is booked, that time is set aside exclusively for you, and I am unable to offer it to another client.

If you do not attend your appointment or cancel without sufficient notice, it means:
• I lose income for that time
• I still incur business costs (rent, products, utilities, and time)
• Another client misses the opportunity to book that slot

No-shows and last-minute cancellations have a real impact on small, self-employed businesses like mine.

For this reason:
• Missed appointments may be charged in full
• Future bookings may require a deposit or payment in advance
• Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future appointments

Cuts & blowdrys 24hr notice

I completely understand that emergencies happen — please just communicate as early as possible. Respecting appointment times helps me continue to provide the best service to all my clients.

The last thing I want to do is stop doing the thing I love the most which is hairdressing however I cannot sustain a living when this is happening.

This time of year always comes round in the blink of an eye, so to all my clients if you havnt done so please book your Christmas appointment as the diary is already looking full 🎄

also a gentle reminder that I too have a family and its first come first served on availability,I’ve been known to do extra hours but I need family time aswell ❤️

Also my usual cancellation policy remains the same on colour appointments 48 hours notice cut or blowdry appointments 24 hours notice 😘

Can I please reiterate this as I cannot sustain a business and pay bills with no shows or not the required notice to fill slots thankyou xx

I hate having to put notices like this, but I just need to remind everyone that I do require 48hours notice of any cancellation’s or rearranging of appointments, I am self employed and if you don’t show I don’t get paid, like everyone else I have bills to pay aswell as the rent on my chair, i pride myself on being flexible and as fair as possible and understand there are certain circumstances that cannot be helped, but please bare this in mind, also if I have not received a deposit of you for colour appointments your booking is not guaranteed until the deposit has been paid,therefore if it is not paid straight away this could result in the appointment being offered to somebody else 💕

Advance notice of price increase,

due to the ever growing rise in costs of products, utility bills and much more from the 1st July I will be increasing my prices, we value you continued support and understanding as we implement this change ❤️

Colour appointment available today at 2pm existing client only as would need patch test otherwise 🖤
