He’s just a boy tending sheep.” Oh, but God said, “That’s the one! Bring him, for I have chosen him!”

Brethren, hear me today, the one they left behind was the one God lifted up!
David was abandoned, overlooked, left in the wilderness; but Heaven had His eyes on him. God said, “That is the one I’m looking for.”

Beloved, maybe men have written you off. Maybe your family, your friends, or your job has counted you out. But I came to announce to somebody: God has not forgotten you! You may not look qualified, but there is a qualification that only God gives. You may not have the look, the education, the connections, or the approval; but God sees something in you that others cannot see.

Can I talk to you today? There is an anointing for the rejected!
When everyone else sees your weakness, God sees your potential. When they say you don’t fit in, God says you’re exactly what I need. In David’s house, not one person spoke up for him, not his father, not his brothers, not his friends. But God was speaking for him in heaven!

The Bible says in Romans 8:31, “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
If God is on your side, it does not matter who is against you. When God stands with you, no devil in hell can stand before you! You can overcome every obstacle, conquer every opposition, and rise above every limitation.

But listen, beloved, how do you move from the wilderness to the palace?
How do you transition from being rejected to being anointed?

1️⃣ Refuse to live by human opinion.
Stop letting people define you by their standards. If David had listened to his family, he would have stayed in the field. Don’t let the voice of man silence the call of God in your life.

2️⃣ Don’t focus on what’s against you.
What is against you cannot stop you, unless you are against yourself. Refuse to give power to your distractions. Every problem, every opposition, every delay is designed to take your eyes off your DESTINATION. Stay focused on the promise, not the problem.

3️⃣ Step out even when things aren’t perfect.
If you wait for perfect conditions, you’ll never move. God anointed David in the middle of the field, not the palace. Start where you are, and God will take you where you’re meant to be.

Let me close with this, there is a special anointing reserved for the rejected.
When men forget you, GOD REMEMBERS YOU. When they push you out, God pulls you up. When they say, “You don’t belong,” God says, “You’re chosen.”
