ARE YOU AN ULCER PATIENT???
SECRET HEALER ‘ACTIVATED CHARCOAL’

When we talk of ulcer it comes in different forms {PEPTIC ULCER, DUODENAL ULCER, GASTRIC ULCER}

DOUDENAL ULCER
A duodenal ulcer is a type of peptic ulcer that forms in the first part of the small intestine, known as the duodenum., duodenal ulcer develops when the lining of the duodenum is eroded, leading to the formation of open sores or lesions.

GASTRIC ULCER
Gastric ulcers specifically occur in the lining of the stomach. Causing the lining of the stomach to erode.

PEPTIC ULCER
Peptic ulcers can occur in both the stomach (gastric ulcers) and the first part of the small intestine, known as the duodenum (duodenal ulcers).
These ulcers occur when the protective lining of the stomach and the first part of the small intestine is eroded, allowing stomach acid and digestive juices to irritate and damage the underlying tissue.

NB: Peptic ulcers and gastric ulcers are both types of gastrointestinal ulcers, but they differ in their location within the digestive system

FACTORS THAT CAUSES ULCER
1. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection: This bacterium is a common cause of peptic ulcers. H. pylori can weaken the protective mucous lining of the stomach and duodenum, making them more susceptible to damage from stomach acid. {H. pylori infection occurs when H. pylori bacteria infect your stomach. H. pylori bacteria are usually passed from person to person through direct contact with saliva, vomit or stool. H. pylori may also be spread through contaminated food or water}

2. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs): Long-term use of NSAIDs such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen can irritate the stomach lining and increase the risk of developing peptic ulcers.

3. Excessive alcohol consumption: Alcohol can irritate the stomach lining and increase the production of stomach acid, which may contribute to the development of ulcers.

4. Smoking: Smoking can weaken the stomach's protective mucous lining and impair its ability to heal, increasing the risk of peptic ulcers.

5. Skipping breakfast: morning fasting is a secret dangerous factor that causes ulcer many people do not know, this is because an empty stomach releases acid. Acid can build up in your stomach when it's empty. If you haven't eaten for several hours, this buildup of digestive fluid can lead to acid reflux, causing heartburn. Gastric acid or stomach acid is a digestive fluid formed within the stomach lining.

6. Excess Intake of acidic foods on empty stomach: the intake of acidic foods like, lemon, orange, lime, grapes, pineapples grape fruits, blueberries, blue plums, pomegranates etc. and foods like pepper, onion, ginger etc. is another higher factor that leads to stomach ulcer that we mostly don’t pay much attention to.

COMMON SYMPTOMS OF ULCERS MAY INCLUDE:
 Abdominal pain or discomfort, typically located in the upper abdomen anywhere between your belly button and breastbone.
 Indigestion or heartburn
 Nausea
 Vomiting, sometimes with blood
 Dark, tarry stools (indicating gastrointestinal bleeding)
 Feeling full too soon while eating a meal.
 Feeling uncomfortably full after eating a meal.
 Nausea and vomiting.
 Bloating.
 Belching.

It's important to note that not all people with ulcers will experience symptoms, and the severity of symptoms can vary. Diagnosis of ulcers usually involves a combination of medical history assessment, physical examination, and tests such as endoscopy, which allows a healthcare provider to visually inspect the stomach and duodenum to confirm.

NB: If you suspect you have a stomach ulcer or are experiencing symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or black, tarry stools, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis for ulcer. Even at that, any ordinary person can take activated charcoal because its alkaline and has no effect on you, unless you OVER DOSE

The benefits of activated charcoal are primarily attributed to its adsorbent properties, which allow it to trap and remove toxins, chemicals, and impurities from the body. While activated charcoal is known for its adsorbent properties, which can help bind to and remove toxins and chemicals from the digestive tract, it helps to reduce stomach acid production.

1. Detoxification: Activated charcoal is often used to detoxify the body by adsorbing toxins and chemicals in the gastrointestinal tract. It may help alleviate symptoms of food poisoning or drug overdose by preventing the absorption of harmful substances in the digestive system.

2. Digestive Health: Activated charcoal is sometimes used to relieve gas, bloating, and other symptoms of indigestion by adsorbing excess gas and toxins in the digestive tract.

3. Water Filtration: Activated charcoal is commonly used in water filtration systems to remove impurities, chemicals, and contaminants from drinking water, making it safer to consume.

4. Skin Care: Activated charcoal is included in many skincare products such as face masks, cleansers, and soaps due to its ability to draw out impurities, excess oil, and toxins from the skin, helping to unclog pores and improve complexion.

5. Oral Health: Activated charcoal is sometimes used in toothpaste and mouthwash products to whiten teeth and freshen breath by adsorbing stains, bacteria, and odors from the mouth.

NB: Over dosing it can lead to constipation, and gastrointestinal blockages if used inappropriately or in large quantities. Taking activated charcoal can deactivate any other medication, because it takes away all chemicals, toxins, poisons and even D.D.T from the body, therefore it sees any medication in your body as chemical and therefore deactivates them.
