Causes of Maskne include:

🔸️Trapped moisture due to sweating and breathing under face mask increases the risk of Acne
🔸️Friction of mask material against the skin , causing chaffing and irritation
🔸️Wearing face mask can increase build up of bacteria, dirt, oil and clog pores
🔸️sensitive or allergic to mask material . Some materials are pretreated with chemicals.

PREVENTION TIPS
☝️Remove mask for 15min every 4hours, if safe.
☝️Wash Fabric mask or toss disposable mask after every use. Avoid washing with harsh detergent.
☝️wash face twice daily and apply moisturizer before and after wearing mask. Non comedogenic moisturizer can help hydrate dry skin due to wearing of mask.
☝️skip make up when wearing face mask, if necessary, use non comedogenic products.
☝️Wear the right mask that best fit your face.
