WHAT IS DIABETES?
Diabetes Mellitus, simply known as diabetes, is a chronic disease that occurs either when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood sugar. Hyperglycaemia, or raised blood sugar, is a common effect of uncontrolled diabetes and over time leads to serious damage to many of the body's systems, especially the nerves and blood vessels.

Types Of Diabetes:
1. Type 1 diabetes (previously known as insulin-dependent, juvenile or childhood-onset) is characterized by deficient insulin production and requires daily administration of insulin.
2. Type 2 diabetes (formerly called non-insulin-dependent, or adult-onset) results from the body’s ineffective use of insulin. More than 95% of people with diabetes have type 2 diabetes. This type of diabetes is largely the result of excess body weight and physical inactivity.
3. Gestational diabetes is hyperglycaemia with blood glucose values above normal but below those diagnostic of diabetes. Gestational diabetes occurs during pregnancy.
4. Impaired glucose tolerance and impaired fasting glycaemia:
Impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and impaired fasting glycaemia (IFG) are intermediate conditions in the transition between normality and diabetes. People with IGT or IFG are at high risk of progressing to type 2 diabetes, although this is not inevitable.

Health impact:
Over time, diabetes can damage the heart, blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, and nerves.

#1. Adults with diabetes have a two- to three-fold increased risk of heart attacks and strokes.
#2. Combined with reduced blood flow, neuropathy (nerve damage) in the feet increases the chance of foot ulcers, infection and eventual need for limb amputation.
#3. Diabetic retinopathy is an important cause of blindness, and occurs as a result of long-term accumulated damage to the small blood vessels in the retina. Close to 1 million people are blind due to diabetes.
#4. Diabetes is among the leading causes of kidney failure.

Prevention:
Simple lifestyle measures have been shown to be effective in preventing or delaying the onset of type 2 diabetes.
To help prevent type 2 diabetes and its complications, people should:
✓ Achieve and maintain a healthy body weight;
be physically active – doing at least 30 minutes of regular, moderate-intensity activity on most days. More activity is required for weight control;
✓ Eat a healthy diet, avoiding sugar and saturated fats; and
✓ Avoid to***co use – smoking increases the risk of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Diagnosis and treatment
Early diagnosis can be accomplished through relatively inexpensive testing of blood sugar.

The Good News is we have Natural Organic Products, prepared from carefully selected Natural Herbs for You to fight and win the Battle against Diabetes.

What are fibroids?
Fibroids are abnormal growths that develop in or on a woman’s uterus. Sometimes these tumors become quite large and cause severe abdominal pain and heavy periods. In other cases, they cause no signs or symptoms at all. The growths are typically benign, or noncancerous. The cause of fibroids is unknown.

Fibroids are also known by the following names:
i. leiomyomas
ii. myomas
iii. uterine myomas
iv. fibromas

According to the Office on Women’s Health, up to 80 percent of women have them by the age of 50. However, most women don’t have any symptoms and may never know they have fibroids.

What are the different types of fibroids?
The type of fibroid a woman develops depends on its location in or on the uterus.

1. Intramural fibroids:
Intramural fibroids are the most common type of fibroid. These types appear within the muscular wall of the uterus. Intramural fibroids may grow larger and can stretch your womb.

2. Subserosal fibroids:
Subserosal fibroids form on the outside of your uterus, which is called the serosa. They may grow large enough to make your womb appear bigger on one side.

3. Pedunculated fibroids:
Subserosal tumors can develop a stem, a slender base that supports the tumor. When they do, they’re known as pedunculated fibroids.

4. Submucosal fibroids
These types of tumors develop in the middle muscle layer, or myometrium, of your uterus. Submucosal tumors aren’t as common as the other types.

What causes fibroids?
It’s unclear why fibroids develop, but several factors may influence their formation.

1. Hormones:
Estrogen and progesterone are the hormones produced by the ovaries. They cause the uterine lining to regenerate during each menstrual cycle and may stimulate the growth of fibroids.

2. Family history:
Fibroids may run in the family. If your mother, sister, or grandmother has a history of this condition, you may develop it as well.

3. Pregnancy:
Pregnancy increases the production of estrogen and progesterone in your body. Fibroids may develop and grow rapidly while you’re pregnant.

Who is at risk for fibroids?
Women are at greater risk for developing fibroids if they have one or more of the following risk factors:
pregnancy
a family history of fibroids
age of 30 or older
African-American
a high body weight

Symptoms of fibroids may include:
1. Heavy bleeding between or during your periods that includes blood clots
2. Pain in the pelvis or lower back
3. Increased menstrual cramping
4. Increased urination
5. Pain during in*******se
6. Menstruation that lasts longer than usual
7. Pressure or fullness in your lower abdomen
8. Swelling or enlargement of the abdomen

Not withstanding the above mentioned issues with regard to Fibroids, Natural Plants For Healing comes in with a pack of Natural Organic Products to fight and win your case for you. Our products have no Chemicals and no Side Effects.
