WELLNESS AND WEALTH CREATION IS OUR PRIORITY.
PEOPLE who never witnessed war Will think WAR is just shooting guns and KILLING people.
As we go into an election this 7th December, 2024. Let’s not allow any POLITICIAN to push us, especially the youth, in conflict for their gains.
Don’t forget that:
War is starvation,
War is r**e,
War is deprivation of movement,
War is fear,
War is lack of access to health care ,
War is lack of access to your wealth ,
War is diseases ,
War is hopelessness ,
War is losing children,
War is losing parents,
War is losing spouse,
War is losing loved ones,
War is not going to school
War is creating an entire generation who will be illiterates,
War is so much more than just shooting guns and ending lives
Even after War it will take decades for a nation to heal to reconcile and to rebuild etc.
Ask Rwanda, Congo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Sudan, South Sudan and Libya.
War in reality is different from War in the movies.
When next you wish for War ask those who have actually witnessed 1966 Nigerian Civil War. Everybody became casualties of War both dead and the living.
"United we stand up for Ghana, divided we fall".
BE AN AGENT OF PEACE.
I stand for PEACE. Don't let the POLITICIANS deceive you. Your vote is your power!!!
COUNSELING SCENARIO
You caught your child stealing meat from your pot of soup.
You were so enraged that you hit him with the big soup laddle. He escaped and soughto refuge from your wrath at a neighbor's place.
You reported him to your husband when he got back from work. He summoned the child and gave him a punishment. He released him after minutes of messy tears and trembling legs.
You didn't give him dinner, you sent the boy to bed hungry.
Yet, you were not satisfied. You woke him up in the middle of the night and delt with him further. Your turning stick and his father's leather belt aided you in melting out the punishment.
In the morning, you acted as if you had forgiven him. You admonished him, fed him, packed his lunch, and offered to walk him to school. The child was relieved, happy even that he was now forgiven. Only for you to approach his teacher and narrate what he did, with dramatic details.
The teacher promised to discipline him adequately, and so, after you went back home, your child was called out on the assembly and flogged before the students populace, including his friends, his crush, and those who looked up to him.
Those who missed the assembly heard the exaggerated version of the story. Everyone laughed at your child, including the boy who stole from his parents on a daily basis, and even the one who picked pockets in the market. Nobody laughed at those ones because their mothers did not bring their matters to the school.
Your child soon became lonely at school. His friends didn't want him any more because of the stigma. They wouldn't pick him for any football game or allow him into any clubs. He developed self-esteem issues.
Your child grew up emotionally distant from you, he could not bring himself to open up to you no matter what he went through, because he never forgot what you did the last time he made a mistake.
Now, you wonder why your own child wouldn't confide in you. That's right, because you will make it the topic of discussion at your next woman's meeting.
Ten years down the line, someone created a whatsapp group of his school mates set. Your child was added to the group and he joined with the hope of reuniting, but left when he found a meme making a joke about his past. Even though it was just a joke, he couldn't stand it because he already had internal issues. He couldn't bear to show his face at the reunion ceremony.
Your child graduated from the university and applied for his dream job. He passed the first three stages of the application and was invited for the interview.
He left the interview, hopeful to be called back for the job. Only for him to run into one of his ex-schoolmates after the interview. He greeted her hastily and hurried away.
But it was too late as the lady happened to be the wife of the boss who interviewed him and he had already saw them exchanging greeting. He asked his wife about your child and she went ahead to paint an ugly picture of what happened ten years ago.
“Ahhn, that boy was a bandit of sort. He used to terrorize his neighborhood with his stealing antics, everyone knew him both at home and in school.” That was all the boss needed to make a decision among the many competitive applicants.
Even though it has been several years already, you have even forgotten about the incidence, your child is still suffering from the consequences.
Your child hasn't stolen a single item since that meat, but the stigma had evolved with him and only grown bigger.
Before you expose your child's misdeed at his school, Churches, Fellowships, Mosques or Islamiyah, Communities etc please ask yourself if you would do the same if he had exhibited a pleasant behavior.
Revealing what your child did at home in public is embarrassment, not discipline.
Dear parents, teachers as elders please don't embarrass your children, or students. It may scar them for a lifetime. You can positively reform the youth through confidentiality.
Soldiers entered a village and r**ed all the women. Except one, who resisted the soldier, killed him and cut off his head. After the Soldiers completed their mission and returned to their barracks then all the women came out of their houses gathering their torn clothes crying Except for one. She came out of her house and came with the soldier's head in her hands. Her look was full of pride and she said; "did you think I would let him r**e me without killing him or him killing me???"
The women in the village looked at each other and decided that she should be killed so that their husbands would not ask them when they returned from work why you did not resist like her. She was attacked and murdered. (They murdered honour, so shame could live!).
This is the case of the corrupt in our society today. They kill and isolate every honest person so that there is no witness to their corruption.
Happy and Glorious Father's Day to all Biological and Adopted Father's all over the world and beyond.
May we remain favoured in all our endeavours in Jesus' name.
A DIVORCED SINGLE MOTHER WROTE
I am writing to you in order to make someone understand that it's good to appreciate our partners despite their flaws.
I am 32 years of age.
My ex husband and I dated for 6 years.
We where best of friends.
I waited until he completed college and started work.
My family and his family then met.
We got married and had a son. (7 years old now).
My husband was short tempered at times but our problems started when I wanted to make him feel he couldn't control me.
Every time we argued, I would pack my bags, go to my family and explain.
My sisters would phone my husband and shout at him.
If he was controlling me I would always dare him that if he wished, he could divorce me.
I never wanted divorce.
I just had pride and I never wanted to look like a loose woman in his eyes.
One day I pushed him so hard that for the first time he beat me and locked me outside.
I went to my family, my family took him to the police, every time I looked like I was being abused!
But to be honest, I used to abuse my husband emotionally.
He was arrested and detained.
I was asked by his family to withdraw the case.
I felt that what I was doing was wrong.
My husband was never a violent man, he did what he did because I pushed him to the wall of which he openly knelt down and apologized.
I withdrew the charge, and we reconciled.
After three months, I packed my bags after a small issue and he remained alone.
After two days, I
received a call that he was in the hospital.
My family told me that I shouldn't go there because it would look like I was begging him and my sisters believed he was feigning the illness.
All this time, people felt sorry for me like I was the one being abused.
He spent a week in the hospital, after he came out, I just received a divorce summon.
I wanted to say no to divorce, but because I felt this pride, I wanted him to change his mind and beg me.
I called him and said he would get the divorce because I lived like I was in hell.
When we went to court, I wanted to make him pay, so I told the court that I needed his properties to be shared.
To my surprise he openly told the court that whatever he and I acquired together should be given to me, all he wanted was divorce.
We were divorced in 2009 July.
Now, my husband is married, whilst l am here wasted!
My family members are gossiping about me.
I depend on what my ex husband gives to my son for survival.
I know I wasted my
marriage.
I am here telling all wives that they should be careful how they get advise.
Don't be cheated, don't entertain family interference in your marriage my dear reader.
Even my young sisters are much more respected than me.
Those who encouraged me to get divorced are always teasing and bad mouthing me.
Please ladies, be vigilant in your marriage.
Thought it wise to share my story to save your marriage.
There is no benefit in pride for nothing.
SOMETIMES IT'S NOT THE MAN'S FAULT AT ALL, IT'S YOUR PRIDE, AND THE PEOPLE YOU ALLOWED TO ADVISE YOU,SO BE WISE AND VIGILANT IN YOUR MARRIAGE.
Exactly 15 years ago at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Asawasi, Hagar and I solemnised our Marriage.
We're very grateful to YAHWEH SABAOTH for all that HE has blessed, favoured and graced us with and most importantly, HIS Divine Presence in our lives and Marriage in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
We say a big 'THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU', to all our Brothers, Sisters, In-laws, relatives, children, friends, colleagues, Church members and everyone who has helped and supported us in prayers, materially, financially and on humanitarian grounds.
May God bless us all in Jesus' name. Amen.
HAPPY AND BLESSED 15TH MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARY TO US, MR & MRS ARKO-MENSAH!
16/05/2024
With Christian Today – I just got recognised as one of their rising fans! 🎉
DEAR YAHWEH SABAOTH, I COME TO YOU TODAY, WITH A HEART FULL OF GRATITUDE, IN JESUS' NAME, FOR ALL THAT YOU'VE FAVOURED AND BLESSED ME WITH, WHEN I DIDN'T DESERVE THEM.
Please, bless and favour Your children through whom You saved and helped me greatly:
Pst. Edward Agyemang, Messrs Prosper Berko, Joseph Appiah, Isaac Ohene-Gyan and all those who in one way or the other, prayed with and for me. Grant them their deepest hearts' desires and never let them lack anything that will give them Your blessings in Jesus' name. Amen.
A Cigarette smoker without money can leave his house with faith that when He gets to the joint, his Friends will buy for him and for sure even without begging, his friends will say guy take one stick. That's Love.
A guy who loves Beer without money can leave his home for a Beer Parlour with faith that his Friends will buy for him and for sure even without asking, his Friends will say guy take one bottle. That's love.
A Drug addict can leave his home without money and go to their joint with the faith that his Gang Members will buy for him, and for sure even without asking, his Gang members will say have a spiff.
That's love .
But can a hungry/jobless person leave his home for a Religious Organisation with faith that someone will give him money with which to eat???
NO!
Where is the love that we preach everyday?
Have you bothered to ask a member of your Church/Mosque or Religious Organisations how life is treating them? People go through a lot of difficulty and only a few will voice out for the fear of being labelled.
Someone will sow 100,000 cedis seed in a Religious gathering, but beg him for 200 cedis outside, he will say no money.
This is why it's easy for the devil to convince young minds and grown-ups to join bad Gangs because they show more love than most people that preach love.
We, the Religious people really have to step-up and start practising this love that we preach🗣🗣
Food for thought.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO GHANA AND GHANAIANS LIVING EVERYWHERE!
May YAHWEH SABAOTH, continue to bless and favour us with peace, love and understanding in all our endeavours, and grant all our leaders at national, traditional and political with wisdom, knowledge and discipline in leadership to govern and rule the country in Jesus' name. Amen!
!
May YAHWEH SABAOTH, in Jesus' name, from His Holy Sanctuary turn His Eyes of mercy towards you and bless you with your deepest heart's desires for checking up on and helping me whilst I'm alive and in need, than when I'm dead and of no use to you.
