Is Ramadan again and the LAMIN HOME RED CROSS LINK is set for another food distribution as iftarr to the people within Lamin village and the nearby communities as part of our activity plan for year 2024, we target to reach two Health centers Banjulinding and Lamin Health center the rest of the food will be shared among others within the community. Date 30th March 2024

Dear All,

Be informed that the AKI medicine recall exercise is suspended until Wednesday 5 October due to delay in sending information to the public to clear the ground for GRCS to start the implementation. Although the minister of health has made a press briefing which was covered by GRCS and QTV but it was not well disseminated to enable the exercise to kick-off.

A press statement was signed and shared with stakeholders and immediately posted on the MoH social media handle during the yesterday's meeting. stakeholder are encourage to share the press statement on the social media handles.

Also, the RCCE team was tasked to collect the minister press briefing record from both QTV and GRCS for dissemination to the public through other media platform.

TV and radio advert will be prepared and publics starting Monday 3 October 2022

*Update on the Implementation*

As communicated earlier, the medicine recall exercise will last for five days. The first day will be orientation at district level and implementation started the same day. We are looking at the possibility of the PHOs or CHNs at district level to facilitate the orientation of volunteers. I will get back to you on this when finalized.

From yesterday's meeting we agreed that volunteers will be provided with inventory forms and bags. The forms will be use to record the products received from the communities and the bags for ease transportation and storage. The forms for the volunteers, district and national supervisor were all developed during the yesterdays meeting and shared for review and printing .

Tentatively the meeting agreed that teams will move a day before the activity to delivery and distribution bags and forms to the volunteers at district level. Therefore BOs, prepare the district supervisors to receive these items in the their respective dsitrict. the activity will be coordinated by GRCS.
