I think genetics play a role. However, it’s absolutely possible to improve the way your hair looks with a good science-based routine. And even people blessed with hair that is still beautiful with minimal maintenance can absolutely destroy it if they don’t take good care of it. No one’s hair is indestructible

Some of y’all are talking about actual genetic conditions and yeah that’s definitely true. My husband is struggling with androgenic alopecia at only 27 so I am witnessing firsthand that kind of a situation. I should’ve clarified my comment was only taking into consideration hair that is not being affected by actual medical conditions....Yes of course hair is down to genetic BUT a good hair care routine will help you to bring out all the potential your genes offer. And a bad hair care routine or habits can destroy your hair despite good genes.
My genes suck. My hair is never going to grow to my tailbone it’s not even growing to my b***s 😅 And it’s so thin that everything longer than a pixie cut is just sad to look at. Because it’s so thin it’s also really fragile. Without a good hair care routine it starts breaking off before it can reach my shoulders. Hell oh starts breaking off when it reaches my chin.
Thanks to a good hair care routine and lots of K18 I managed to grow my hair a bit past my shoulders. That wouldn’t have happened if I had done nothing and relied on my genes to do gift me with long hair. I‘m the women with the longest hair in my family in generations!
And I‘m really proud of it because it wasn’t easy.
Will it ever look as amazing as the hair of influencers? Nope I‘m realistic enough to know that. I mean even with all the best products in the world my hair isn’t going to grow pst my b***s. But that doesn’t mean that all the products and habits don’t work. For me hair care routines are just a way to maximize the genetic potential you have. And I think most people think the same way. We know that hair care isn’t magic.

S*xless marriage= Divorce?

Do you think a s*xless marriage is a good enough reason to divorce?
When I say "s*xless," I mean 10 times a year or less, and it's a marriage where one spouse is simply not giving s*x to the other. What are your thoughts?

Honestly - the why matters.

Is it health issues, and life has given you a raw deal? That sucks, but 100% I'm there with my partner.

Is it a temporary thing? Those first few years of children, when there are like 10 healthy days a year without them bringing home a new plague? Totally, we weather that storm together!

Is it my spouse just doesn't like me anymore? They know I'm unhappy and just don't care, or at least don't care enough to work on it? Especially when that 'work' is supposed to be good for both of us? That's a different story....

Intimacy and S*x are both very important in most marriages and both individuals need to work together to an agreeable middle ground that they both want to achieve in those areas.

Contrary to some mods and others, No, I'm not advocating marital r**e or coercion. I'm talking about the two individuals in a marriage working together towards multiple common goals. This specific one just happens to involve intimacy and s*x, not what to have for dinner. If either partner is not in the mood at a given time, that's a no to s*x at that time... for whatever reason.

If said partner is always saying no, then there needs to be communication about the issues around why they don't want to achieve the "middle ground" discussed and agreed to. Possibly adjust the middle ground but definitely work on the root cause.

In most marriages, a HL shouldn't be expected to turn the dial to "zero" and the LL shouldn't be expected to turn their dial to "100".

Is a s*xless marriage a "legitimate" basis for divorce? Yes, it's called an irreconcilable difference and has been the stated reason for MANY. The problem is that if the root cause of the s*xless marriage was actually discussed and worked on, most of the time, they wouldn't have divorced for this reason.

I wanted to share to help anybody who sees all the success photos on here and feels disheartened.

Pls:Pics are my nature hair in all its stages.

The first two are my success shots. My wash days that went right, the routine worked, and I got a nice picture.

(Wash with Umberto Giannini shampoo, tresemme coconut curly conditioner, scrunch in Cantu curl cream, then Umberto Giannini curl jelly and diffuse for the first photo, air dry for the second).

The next 3 photos are the days that follow washday. I sleep in a silk bonnet, but as you can see the definition is lost some and the shine has gone down. This is how I look most of the time.

The last two photos were failed routines. The wash day didn’t go well, I tried something new and it failed etc etc…. It happens to all of us.

Let’s celebrate our hair in all its natural forms, and not just when it looks it’s most controlled on wash day.

Hope more ideas in the Comments..lol..😉

At early stage of baldness i think every one faced these suicidal thoughts and feel like a useless person. But things back normal when u accept and face the problem.
I am on finasteride and minoxidil more than a year. And i am happy with the results.
Go for a buzz cut and try these medications atleast a year and then see results. After a year Hair transplant is a good option too.
But please dont take stress. You only live once. Be grateful for what u have no matter whats the situation.
Calm down and share your problem with specialist and your loved ones.
There are many things that are much important than hair.

Doesnt have to be a full shave or anything straight away as if you're feeling vulnerable mentally that can be hard to get used to straight away, but it definitely may not be as bad as you think. Screw those girls. They weren't worth so much if it was a deal breaker for them. I know it's hard but throw yourself into other things. Self improvement. Working out. Learning new things (really important), career or business. You're young and have so much time to make your life better and what you want it to be. Ignore the media BS about hair loss being supposedly awful. In men it is actually very NORMAL regardless of how society wants to view it. Some men get it others don't. That's life. Work on yourself and in years to come you'll meet a girl who you click with..a decent and less superficial (about hair) one. Get your swagger back about other things..your body, intelligence etc etc. You can even try using minox on your beard area to get a really good beard/stubble going which also balances out hair loss really well in many people. Short hair and stubble is a good, masculine look regardless of skin colour. Hair is only one part of a bigger equation. Now I'm not saying you absolutely have to stop treatments or not put to bed the idea of a possible transplant, but right now..what are your options? You can let this mess up your life or you can own the cards you've been dealt and smash life in other areas. You can still stay on treatments if you want even if your hair is shorter and you're paying it less attention. Maybe in 2, 3, 4, 5 years you'll be in a much better paying job and doing a HT could be a possibility (but don't let that be your sole goal and remember that HTs come with downsides too). Take a look at a guy called Stirling Cooper on YouTube. Hes a former p**n star who gives out advise on s*x and dating and is bald..he did a video on baldness recently. I'm not saying his advice is always perfect, but it is pro active about improving oneself and maybe giving less of a sh*t. One last thing. Put any ideas of self harm or su***de out of your mind for good. I kboe people who took their own lives and the pain it leaves behind for others is brutal and doesn't really go.

If you also face the same problem.Just Stay blessed and Be a fighter.:)

Help Me Please..

Somebody said:"I think the blonde looks nice, but rather unremarkable. Like my brain would recognize you as pretty, but not memorable. The brunette actually highlights that you aren't just pretty, but beautiful.

Blonde is perfectly nice, but brunette is stunning. I think it would just depend on how much you want to stand out!. the blonde looks good but in these pictures the brunette hair is wavy and just falls better. the blonde hair would look better If it was the same hairstyle as the brunette picture and more shiney but both look good! Hard to decide. From these pictures the brunette looks better but mostly because of the style and because it´s shinier.

And more don't agree ..lol..😂

But I still think The brunette is stunning and gives me a way more unique look. The blonde doesn’t look bad; it looks nice as well, but it’s just so commonplace.

So....Damn..Go Brunette Now..

Do you agree?🤔

I have a few questions. First are they using the flat iron during the service or after? Generally flat irons are only used during a chemical service if it's a keratin or thermal straightening treatment not relaxers. Next I certainly hope they are not using both sodium hydroxide and thio relaxers on you. Hydroxide and thio relaxers should NEVER be used on the same head of hair. It causes severe chemical breakage.

Not all flat irons are ceramic. Some treatments straightup can't be used with ceramic tools. When doing chemical straightening treatments generally titatnium flat irons are used. These do not have a ceramic coating and should be a shiny silver or gold metal. That might have been what they were using. I can say as a hairdresser I would never use someone's tool they brought in. First there would be a liability issue so it would be a big legal no no and secondly it would be a bit insulting. We spend thousands of dollars on our tools. Bringing in your own would imply that you don't trust your hairdressers' expertise. If you don't think you can trust their tool choice then you should be getting a new hairdresser, not bringing in your own.

In regards to brushes/combs.. I have this problem where they all get a layer of dust/oils.. Is my hair just that dirty/should I be washing my hair or my combs a lot more?

I have one boar bristled brush and I find it difficult to clean.. one rounded one with either boar bristles and the usual spikes.. and a plain plastic comb. Should I find a comb of different material? I've heard that wood is good for distributing oils, but i've also used a silicone brush that seemed quite nice, but I haven't been able to find anything like it anywhere.

Help me if you like,I'm going crazy with my hair..😭😭😭

Hair type: thin

Hair texture: straight & kinda wavy

History: bleach & dyed 2x a year for the last 5 years

Hygiene: shampoo on scalp & condition on ends 2-3x week

Style: long Bob

Product regimen: currently using OGX thick & full + biotin & collagen extra strength & extra volume shampoo and conditioner.

My hair is superrrr oily; I wash my hair every 2-3 days but should probably start washing it daily due to excess oil. Im at my wits end here, I’ve tried switching to natural shampoos and conditioners like the love beauty planet brand, but no luck. Also good to mention that after I do wash and condition my hair, it still looks greasy & that’s after me rigorously washing it. Any advice for a desperate oil head?

How JHY Hair Come Through Difficulties the Wig Market Facing With Today

JHY Hair, as the leading company of human hair wigs in the CHINA, summarized the two major difficulties the wig industry facing today. One is the shortage of lace, the other is the gradual lack of human hair. In recent years, the overall lace wig prices generally have an increase by 15% to 25% on account of the current shortage of lace supply on the wig market.

In terms of laces, the main origin of the Swiss laces used ON JHY Hair's undetectable lace wig is Switzerland. To prevent the spread of the virus, Switzerland reduced the lace export volume. Due to the increase of people's hair problems and the thriving of E-commerce, the overall demand for lace wigs has risen. No lace can be offered is becoming a problem for the entire wig industry at this moment. According to JHY Hair's product MANAGER Judy Hu, " Because of the pandemic, we are also facing a short supply of lace, for which we had to reduce the sale of one of our star products — the undetectable lace wig. Also, we have made lots of attempts to come through the shortage of materials."

JHY Hair launched the cap wig as their first step. This idea came from a customer's comment about a lace product promotional video. "Lace wig is expensive for me. Because I'm not good at cutting lace, there is another fee for me to find a hairstylist to install it. Do you guys consider launching cap wigs? "said JESSICA, the customer of JHY Hair. When it reached JHY Hair's product department, the idea caught most of the employees' attention so they decided to implement cap wig. Cap wigs with large elastic bands instead of lace were soon introduced on the wig market. Even if JHY Hair has increased the marketing promotions for cap wigs, it still can't be recognized by most customers in the meantime.

After doing a large amount of customer research, JHY Hair found that the cap wig failed to be recognized by the market for its unnatural look and inflexibility for hairstyling. They tried to replace the large area of the elastic band with a headband. Besides, they selected different styles of headbands to decorate the elastic band of the wig. When JHY Hair launched the headband wig, surprisingly, it achieved much love. Because of its convenience and beginner-friendly, it also attracted some customers who were discouraged from installing lace wigs to headband wigs. "We're so glad to see that headband wigs can hit the current trend. On one side, it has turned the crisis of lace shortage into an opportunity. On the other side, the success has reminded us that the market cannot always be led by a single product. So we will continue to launch our new headband wigs and constantly optimize the restructuring of our products," said Judy, JHY Hair's product manager.

When it comes to raw materials, along with the general improvement of the people's living standard in the areas virgin hair is offered, the supply of raw materials is gradually decreasing. Facing the trend of online wig purchases accelerated by the Covid-19 disease, JHY Hair shares their concerns: "We are more worried about the long-term sustainability of quality hair collection. In the modern era of constant technological innovation, the market should accelerate the speed of enhancing the chemical synthetic hair materials and trying to introduce simulated real hair. So we are now accelerating our research and development of alternative raw materials for real hair, with the hope to bring revolutionary products to consumers in the near future."
