So much labour of love poured into this contemporary dreamy white wedding for Joanne & Jeffrey. You guys are one of the reasons why we take joy in what we do!

In approaching the design of this gazeworthy event, we made sure that all the aesthetic elements of the wedding complemented each other …. from the invitation, bridal flowers and ceremony backdrop to the dinner tablescape and wedding cake, everything just perfectly sung together!

One event that has been very dear to our heart is this one - the first large scale wedding at M+ Museum for J&T.

The wedding ceremony overlooked the city’s iconic Victoria Harbour skyline at The Pergola of the Rooftop Garden. The post-ceremony cocktail took place at the Hong Kong sister restaurant of Seoul’s famed Michelin-starred Mosu adjacent to The Rooftop Garden. The dinner reception was held inside The Atrium with its dramatic spiral staircase. And the afterparty was arranged at the contemporary wooden paneled Forum.

Right from the start, the couple envisioned a classy, sophisticated and elegant wedding. The design aesthetics of the wedding featured lush white florals and dense green foliage and trees, ambient candle lighting, textured printing and watercolour illustrations for invitations, and clean minimalistic styling for the wedding cake to reflect M+’s modern architecture.

Food and drink for the wedding was important to the couple. Since Japanese and Italian cuisines have always been the couple’s favourite, a fine dining dinner menu with Japanese-Italian fusion dishes was created with the assistance of Grand Hyatt’s top executive chefs, and were presented in artistic fashion. Rare wines and signature cocktails were also curated for an unforgettable guest experience.

When it came to music, we were really lucky. Covid restrictions on live music started to lift, and we were able to get in vocalists to serenade the march-in and march-out at the ceremony and entertain guests at the post-ceremony cocktail.

Such a joy to have worked with the same family for 2 weddings. First for Cherry about 4.5 yrs ago. Then, more recently for younger sister Gloria - still remember how thrilled and over the moon we were when we heard of the news!

Gloria & Casey had envisioned a timeless and elegant wedding surrounded by white flowering trees and delicate blooms that in the course of time transformed into reality at Tiffin, Grand Hyatt, where 200 guests were greeted with exquisite food & drinks during a wonderful afternoon. The dinner reception was an intimate and cozy one at Club Lusitano, where the beautiful bride donned a gorgeous dress embroidered with the couple’s love story, and those nearest and dearest dined against a backdrop of romantic flickering candles and a champagne tower.

Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since we last updated our social media. We’ve been kept pretty busy, on our toes, since social distancing measures for weddings relaxed in May. We’ve been constantly working on site with our lovely couples and good friends in the industry, trying to make sure scheduled and postponed events do finally happen in the best way it can!

Can’t believe that 3 yrs passed like a blink of an eye, just like that! And we’re still dreaming of this epic finale to their 4 part wedding celebration, filled with romantic fairy tale elements: a magnificent historic chateau, an enchanting garden with the statue of Eros (the Greek God of Love), a horse drawn carriage, a gorgeous Elie Saab wedding gown with intricate embellishments, lush delicate bridal flowers, fine Parisian cuisine, a spectacular fireworks display that lighted up the night sky, and music and dancing that lasted late into the evening. It was definitely nothing short of magical and certainly an event to be remembered!
