As a research scientist working with cancer treatments including plants, Dr. Saul Alkaitis became convinced that there is a correlation between our society’s dependence on synthetic chemicals and the rapid increase in cancer and other degenerative illnesses.

The majority of skin care in today’s market contains preservatives, additives and synthetic ingredients that don’t support the skin’s natural healthy balance. Dr.Saul Alkaitis set about developing the Dr.Alkaitis range, fusing science and nature to create a skincare range with a holistic approach to beauty that is more than just skin deep.

Dr. Saulius Alkaitis was apprenticed under Nobel Laureates for whom his research provided insight on how plants transformed sunlight into chemical energy and encompassed other matters including AIDS, genetic engineering and cancer. He has achieved a level of studies and research in plant life and their healing properties that few people have yet to attain; achievements which qualify him to create the ultimate in true organic skincare.

All products are made in-house in the manufacturing laboratory, including the extracts. These are made at room temperature using techniques developed by Dr.Alkaitis, which preserve the individual personalities of each plant. Some of the products take over six months to mature in order to maintain the integrity and therapeutic quality of the plant extract. All products are biologically active and edible and free from chemicals and synthetic materials. Neither plant derived ingredients, trans-fats, nor genetically modified organisms are used. 100% certified Organic Aloe Vera Gel is used as the product base as opposed to water. The effect is evident in the texture and consistency of the products. Uniquely, continuing the living and edible theme, only ingestible certified organic alcohol is used.
