She never imagined becoming a Professional Makeup Artist like she is today. But after five years on this journey, she finally realized that this is the path for her growth and her career.
Having the best support system means everything. Parents, family, and close friends who believe in you.
For women, working is important, not just as a survival skill, but more importantly, as a way to build our own value. When women create, we become more confident and more passionate about living our everyday lives.
When you lose motivation, it's okay to take a break and do something that makes you happy. But keep building your portfolio along the way. Keep learning, keep exploring makeup products and techniques, until you find that spark again to continue growing your career. We have to keep learning because trends are always changing.
For those of you building your career as a Makeup Artist, keep going. It always feels harder when you're just starting out and trying to find your place in the industry. But as long as you keep moving and never stop trying, you will find your own path. ❤️
There are many roads to success. If you find one door closed, don't give up. Find another door that's open. Success is becoming a better version of yourself than you were before.
Sharing always nurtures growth. In her 10th year of this journey, Kak Nedita created a scholarship program for 50 aspiring makeup artists. She built this program for women empowerment and to support fellow makeup artists. 😍
