Happy International Women's Day to all the amazing women in my life! 🌺💕

Today, I want to raise a toast to all my wonderful friends and family, both in Ireland and America, who have been my rock and my sunshine in cloudy days. You have walked with me through every up and down, every challenge and joy, and have made my journey worth every step.

From the Emerald Isle to the Land of the Free, your love and support have been as constant as the Northern Star. I am blessed to be surrounded by such strong, inspiring, and empowering women who make the world a better place, simply by being in it.

In the hustle and bustle of our lives, often caught in the whirlwind of work, home, and the mall (because retail therapy is real therapy!), we forget to acknowledge the magic that is within us. But today, I want you to remember how amazing you are.

Let's celebrate the incredible strength, courage, and resilience that lies within each one of us. Let's acknowledge the love, warmth, and care that we bring into the world.

Remember, ladies, the sky is not the limit, it's just the beginning. Here's to us, to every step we take, to every glass ceiling we shatter, and to every mountain we conquer.

Great News

*Breaking: Final Hurdle for Athy Road Cleared*

Following detailed engagement with Transport Minister Eamon Ryan in recent weeks, I am delighted that he has confirmed to me today that he will sign the advanced tender stage documentation for the Athy Distributor Road this week.

This is the final step towards the delivery of the road and is a huge step for the people of Athy. Minister Ryan has also confirmed to me that his department will allocate €18.9m to Kildare County Council for this years roads budget which includes €2m for the Athy Distributor Road’s progression in 2021.

In my earlier discussions with Minister Ryan I outlined the long history of this road project for Athy as well as the economic and environmental benefits the completed project will have for the residents and businesses of Athy & South Kildare. I look forward to the swift progression of this stage of the tender process with construction to commence on site later this year.
