☀️ The biggest myth I hear every summer?
“You have to stop using retinol.”

❌ False.

✅ You can use retinol all summer long… as long as you’re sun safe.

Retinol is one of my favourite skincare ingredients because it helps with:

✨ Fine lines & wrinkles
✨ Pigmentation & sun damage
✨ Uneven skin texture
✨ Acne & breakouts
✨ Overall skin renewal

The key isn’t stopping your retinol… it’s protecting your skin.

Here’s what I recommend:

🧴 Wear SPF every single day (yes, even in Ireland!)
🔄 Reapply your SPF if you’re outdoors.
🧢 Wear a hat and sunglasses when you’re in direct sun.
☀️ Avoid prolonged sun exposure during the hottest part of the day.
✈️ Heading on a sun holiday. I’d recommend leaving your retinol at home and restarting it when you’re back.

Every skin is different, so what works for one person may not be right for another.
