Is your SPF covering you??
For daily use, dermatologists generally recommend a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher.
SPF 30 blocks about 97% of UVB rays.
SPF 50 blocks about 98% of UVB rays and is a good choice if you're outdoors for long periods, have fair skin, or are prone to sun damage.
For your face and neck, use about ½ teaspoon or the 'two fingers' rule of sunscreen. Apply it 15–30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours when outdoors, or after swimming or sweating.
Even on cloudy days in Ireland, it's worth wearing SPF daily because UV rays can still pe*****te clouds.
