There was something really beautiful about this night.

Candlelight flickering, snowdrops on the table, hands busy creating, conversations unfolding slowly. Imbolc marks the returning light — that quiet shift where winter begins to soften and we remember that growth is already happening beneath the surface.

We gathered to create, to reflect, to sit together, and to honour Brigid and this gentle turning of the season.

Thank you to everyone who came and shared the space with us. Nights like this are why I love opening the shop for community 🤍

Rituals of Imbolc 🤍✨

join us in our apothecary space to honor imbolc, the sacred turning toward spring + the returning light.

we’ll begin the evening by opening the space with a cup of ceremonial cacao + a grounding meditation, then move into an evening of creativity, ritual, and sacred making. guided by the energy of brigid, goddess of the flame, healing, creativity + the hearth we’ll deepen our connection to renewal and the quiet awakening of the earth.
together, we’ll craft ritual tools to support intention, protection + growth as we move out of winter and into what’s beginning to stir.

🌿 what we’ll create together:

✨ an intuitively guided crystal bracelet with
 wearable talismans for creativity, courage + renewal
✨ a restorative bath ritual with
 salts, essential oils + flowers to soften the body, soothe the spirit + gently thaw from winter’s holding
✨ a sacred smudge bundle with
.candles a ritual of cleansing + protection, clearing stagnant energy + blessing our spaces as the light returns

these tools can be used to tend the energetic hearth of your home, just as brigid tends the sacred flame.

no experience needed, just an open heart + a willingness to create with purpose 🌱

on friday night we hosted our rituals for samhain event 🔮✨
i know there will be fun reels + more content to come but i just wanted to say a very heartfelt thank you to the women who gathered with us, showed up for themselves + wove some potent magic together.
i’m still buzzin from the evening.
what a privilege it was to witness other creatives come alive in their craft. to my other witches thank you for creating some real life hocus pocus with me ✨
thank you roisin for leading such a potent meditation + teaching us to make our own intuitively guided bracelets. to watch you come alive + literally glowing as you taught and held space was so beautiful.
thank you mia .candles for showing us how to make a spell jar to mark this descent into the darkness. to watch you with such grace weave the tangible + natural world with the spiritual and metaphysical realms was so special.
my heart is so full 🤍 i’ve always had a vision that the shop would always be a space for gathering + community. and at many different times it has, but last year i had to honor my own need to pause, breathe, and to fill my cup up, to trust that the time would come again. and it has.
this was the beginning of something beautiful ✨

better late than never, 4 months later 🙈😂
but who’s counting. if you followed along on my stories last weekend i spoke about what a mental block i had over showing up on social media because i didn’t do a thank you post at christmas + while that may sound silly, i think it’s just really important to express gratitude because without you guys none of this exists! and i’m just forever grateful for the community that wild rose has created over the years. truth be told this business saved my life + it gave me purpose throughout pregnancies and postpartums, my life raft as i walked out of an abusive marriage, it gave me solace as i became a single mother + then in my families time of need this time last year this community rallied and helped put a roof over our heads and fill a home… and everyday i am so grateful for that safe + cozy haven and you guys all helped to make that happen. and i think i’ve come to realize that is what it’s all about, it’s about human connection, sharing stories, showing up for one another. it’ll never be for me numbers + figures, scaling, or mass production. last year i pivoted and opened up the shop to be a collective of beautiful businesses + creative women, had a blast at some of our favorite festivals + markets and got to do some advocacy work + teaching with women’s refuges, dv services + organisations . more of this meaningful work 🥰 i feel incredibly content with where life has led me + gratitude for those that have been apart of this journey ✨ from the bottom of my heart thank you 🤍
