🖤 What is it?
Moxa is a warming therapy using dried mugwort to stimulate Acupuncture points and meridians. For breech presentations, we use moxa to warm a point on the baby toe.

☯️ Does it work?
Across studies the success ratesof moxa for breech have been between 65-85%. Studies on its use combined with Acupuncture have documened a 72-92% success rate.

🫄 When can I try it?
This treatment is advised between weeks 33-37 of pregnancy, for true breech presentations.

✴️(Contraindications: placenta previa, previous casaerian section, history of premature labour or ante-partum haemorrhage.)

finishing the longest month of the year with an email that brought a tear to my eye 🥹 my first client pregnancy announcement of 2026! 💫

I’m so proud of this client. She didn’t have an easy road, dealing with high prolactin, PCOS, long and irregular cycles and a job requiring night shifts making it all the more difficult to find routine. But she put in the work and we used Acupuncture to guide her body back to balance ☯️ 😌
