NOTE OF LEGAL INFORMATION: 13 years ago, thanks to Dr Ana Carolina Puga, a biomedical doctor, known as the mother of The Aesthetic Biomedicine in Brazil, Biomedical Doctors, by federal law, can legally work in the field of skin and aesthetics. 13 years after that, we are a huge group (in exponential expansion) of biomedical doctors that have been able to work in the aesthetic field, able also to prescribe certain medications aesthetic related. In order to be able to gain the specialty within the field, the Biomedical Doctor must complete at least 500 hours of supervised clinical practice which is much beyond the minimum level 7 recommended in Irish and uk lands.
ACT RESOLUTION NO. 214, OF APRIL 10, 2012 says: It deals with the acts of biomedical professionals and covers the use of substances in aesthetic procedures.
THE FEDERAL COUNCIL OF BIOMEDICINE – CFBM, in the use of its powers conferred on it by item II of article 10, Law no. 6,684/79, and items III and XVIII of article 12, of Decree no. 88,439/83, CONSIDERING, the need to standardize the activity of biomedical professionals regarding the use of substances in aesthetics, given the recognition of this specialty in the health area;

✨a little recap on aging process before we can talk about collagen and combined treatments.
🌟as it was mentioned before, aging involves a cascade of transformation that happens within our bodies.
🌟 bone absorption changes the facial features, making our shape more compacted, squared and less defined.
🌟our fat pads also diminishes bringing hollows and creases, dropping features like the cheeks and jaws
🌟 the muscles loose its strength and become thinner becoming hard to hold the attached structures
🌟and of course our collagen becomes weaker and breaks down
🌟our skin cells, over time, becomes tired and due to habits, diets and genetics 🧬, when they reproduce, they lack in vitamins and essential minerals among other important elements and therefore, our skin sheds less frequently and becomes duller, loosing radiance
🌟all of these elements combined, results in what we see, cheeks and jaw down, nasolabial folds heavier and deeper as so the marionette lines, hollowed tear trough and of course many wrinkles
💫 to treat it effectively just dermal fillers and anti-wrinkles are not effective neither the right measure to be taken and I believe that the keys to help facial aging process are combining therapies.
