What are "fillers"?
Fillers are a type of injectable product. They are made of a natural compound called ''hyaluronic acid'', which can be found in your eyes and joints.
This type of product works by restoring lost volume. As we age, we lose certain fat pads in our face, which contributes to drooping of skin. By ‘filling-in’ these areas, we are able to give the effect of a ‘face-lift’, without invasive surgical procedures.
Commonly treated areas include the cheeks, nasolabial fold (i.e the crease between the nose and corner of the mouth), and marionette lines.
They are also used to enhance lips by improving definition and increasing volume.
